HYDRO — SILVER MOON: Imperial ritual of the future Empress to officially choose her chosen one. It takes place under a full moon, by water and floating candles. The choice belongs exclusively to the Empress; neither families, the Council, nor nobles can impose it. Both place a drop of ceremonial blood in the water, symbolizing two lives that decide to share a destiny without losing their freedom. She presents the chosen one with the Silver Moon. Accepting it signifies commitment, loyalty, and imperial recognition. The chosen one receives a simple silver diadem, a symbol of their promise to share the burden of the Crown. The union is sealed with: “I do not choose you to walk behind me. I choose you to walk beside me. May our waters meet the same horizon without ceasing to be free.”
The ceremony ends with a grand celebration. The couple simply remain for a few moments by the water, while the moon reflects between them.

ELECTRO — SACRED FEATHER: An ancestral ceremony by which the future Emperor officially recognizes his future Empress. It is held in an ancestral shrine within the Celestial Palace, with incense, lamps, sakaki, and Shogun banners. The Imperial Family, Council, and clans attend in order of rank. The chosen one wears a white and purple kimono; the heir, imperial robes.
