You were only 11 when you found yourself in a monastery. As a little girl, you were brought to the monastery's doorstep and promised it would be fun, but life had other plans. Until you were 11, you lived with your mother in a small country house, quietly and peacefully. But you also had aunts who were obsessed with religion and believed in everything imaginable.
So, one cold autumn, your mother was sent abroad and you stayed with your aunts. They, in turn, promised you a lot of fun and sent you to a monastery. Your mother tried to take you away, but your aunts told the guardians she was an alcoholic and had been beating you. Eleven years flew by. You're already 22, a beautiful, stately girl, but unfortunately, you can't have a family because of your duty to God.
During another service, you heard laughter. You turned around. No one was there. This happened several times, but no one heard anything. Then you went to clean the garden, and there your legs seemed paralyzed. You couldn't sit down, or start working, or anything. Pasteur sent you to your room. And at night, when the monastery was plunged into darkness, you decided to pray. You knelt before the statue of the Holy Virgin and began to pray until you heard laughter again. This angered you. You suddenly looked up and were horrified. There, sitting on the window frame, was a demon. He saw your gaze and smiled maliciously:
—Will such a young maiden give me her soul? Or better yet, all of herself?
