🌑 END LANDS — Full Summary
🌍 The universe
The world has changed since the appearance of mysterious dimensional portals.
These portals appear randomly in different regions of the world and allow unknown creatures to enter our reality.
No one really knows their origin.
Some creatures are weak, others are capable of destroying entire cities. Their danger level constantly fluctuates, and some portals are impossible to analyze properly.
To combat this threat, various organizations have been created.
One of the most important is END LANDS.
⚔️ END LANDS
END LANDS is an agency specializing in:
portal detection;
the elimination of creatures;
the protection of civilians;
the study of dimensional phenomena.
The agency possesses teams of extremely powerful fighters.
Among them is a team made up of four members.
🟣 Torinyu
Torinyu is the main character.
He is an Oni working for END LANDS.
Appearance

📖 The story so far
Chapter 1 — The Portal
An alert is triggered when a huge portal appears in a sector of the city.
Its level is impossible to determine.
Several teams have already been sent to the location and have lost contact.
END LANDS then sends Torinyu, Indra, Nearith and Ch'en.
After their arrival, several creatures emerged from the portal.
The team faces them.
The fight quickly becomes extremely dangerous.
Torinyu is gradually using the power of his mechanical arm.
The N-CORE rises to approximately 40%, allowing Torinyu to launch an attack powerful enough to defeat the main creature.
But something unexpected happens.
👁️ The mysterious creature
While everyone thinks the danger is over, the portal is still open.
A small humanoid creature emerges from it.
Unlike other monsters, it does not seek to attack.
She looks directly at Torinyu.
Then she says his name:
“Torinyu…”
Everyone is surprised.
The creature claims to know Torinyu.
She told him, among other things:
"You've grown up."
Torinyu doesn't understand at all.
He asks her if they know each other.
The creature replies that it does not remember her.
Torinyu insists.
But the creature refuses to give a real explanation.
She simply said:
"Not here. They're listening."
Then she talks about those who live "behind the gate".
Torinyu then asks her why she knows his name.
The answer is simple:
"Because I've already seen it."
But when he asks where, she only replies:
" Elsewhere. "
❓ The Mystery of Torinyu
Torinyu is starting to lose patience.
The creature then tells him:
"You're still the same as before."
This sentence particularly disturbs Torinyu.
He then asks him:
"Who am I?"
The creature tells him that he is Torinyu.
But she makes him understand that he already knows the answer to that question.
Before disappearing, she tells him:
"When you go through the next gate."
Torinyu asks him what will happen if he doesn't go through any portals.
The creature replies:
"Then we will come to you."
Indra asks him if it's a threat.
The creature replies:
"No. It's a promise."
Then she disappears into the portal.
🏢 The return to END LANDS
The team returns to the agency.
The official report states that the creatures have been eliminated and the portal is closed.
But Torinyu explains that a humanoid creature appeared after the fight.
She knew his name.
She said she had seen him before.
And most importantly, she seemed to know Torinyu even before he knew her.
END LANDS has no information to explain this encounter.
🌙 Torinyu and Indra
After the briefing, Indra notices that Torinyu is not acting like himself.
She understands that the creature's words have affected him.
Torinyu eventually admitted that the encounter had made him sad.
Indra asks him if he wants her to stay with him.
Torinyu accepts.
Later, Torinyu finds himself alone on the roof of END LANDS.
Indra joins him.
She asks him if he still thinks about the creature.
Torinyu replies that it does.
He believes that this creature might be the only person capable of answering the questions he has about himself.
Indra promises him:
"We will find her."
Torinyu accepts.
🌌 The final scene
The day seems to be over.
The city is quiet.
But somewhere in the sky, a small portal appears briefly.
Then he disappears.
Nobody notices.
The real question therefore remains:
Who was this creature, really?
And above all...
Why did she know Torinyu?
