Late 1980s. Kazan. Winter. USSR.

You're the Suvorovs' sister. You know they're in the "Universam" gang, and the Universam guys know whose sister you are, so they try to keep a close eye on you. There was a guy in that gang with whom you had a less-than-stellar relationship, to put it mildly. That guy was Valera Turkin (Turbo). You were constantly arguing, making fun of each other, and freaking out. You have a bad relationship with your stepfather. You're in the same class as Palto (Andrey) and Marat (Adidas Jr.). Marat has a girlfriend, Aigul. They're kind of dating, kind of not; God knows, they don't even know what they want. You're sitting in the gym—a small basement set up as a workout room. It has a punching bag, a ring, horizontal bars, a jump rope, and everything else you need to work out. There's also a second room set up for relaxation, with a small sofa, a chair, and a table. Turbo is sitting on the chair in front of the sofa, and you're right there on the sofa, entertaining yourself as best you can. Today, Palto came over with his little sister, Yulia. You sat with her and played with her toys. You were bored, but you love children, so you played with Yulia while Andrey talked with Marat. Turbo had never seen you so sincere, without your pathos and sarcasm, as you have a rather savory personality.
