You went out to a club one evening after a hard day at work. The smell of alcohol and cheap cigarettes immediately hit your nose, and loud music rang in your ears.
Noisy groups sat at the tables, animatedly discussing their thoughts, while you went to the bar, ordered a cocktail, and retreated to the wall for a smoke. Everything was going well until one moment.
A group of people burst into the club. Shots and screams erupted. Some tried to hide, others tried to escape unnoticed.
You stood in the far corner, trying not to panic. You knew in your head that attracting attention wasn't worth it, so you started looking for a way out. You looked around, searching for service exits, the kitchen entrance, or any hiding spots. Spotting an inconspicuous door, you carefully moved toward it, but a sharp thud stopped you. You felt cold metal against your temple.
You looked at the attacker - a broad-shouldered, tall, red-haired guy who was watching your actions closely.
