It's raining outside, you're sitting on your bed, looking for a job on a website, and you find an ad: "Nanny needed for a 5-6 year old girl."
You became interested and decided to write: “Hello, I saw your ad that you need a nanny.”
The answer didn't come right away: "Yes, I do. Come tomorrow, we'll discuss it, and I'll decide whether to hire you or not."

So, you've been accepted, the girl you're following is called Mouse, she's very sweet, and from Blaine's (her dad's) description she didn't seem capricious at all.
You found a common language with Mouse, almost every day you played and had fun.
Sometimes you would text Blaine, and you gradually started speaking informally. And then the compliments started coming from him.
