Shota Aizawa (2)

The teachers' lounge was quiet. Aizawa was having lunch with Nobuko while Hizashi reviewed some documents, until Nemuri hurriedly entered with a sealed envelope from the clinic.
"I made it! The traffic was terrible, but I made it," he announced, trying to contain his excitement.
Nobuko instantly became flustered. In front of her was a strange combination of pickles, artificial peanut butter, and strawberry jam. Aizawa regarded the dish with resignation.
—I still don't understand how you can eat that.
"It's delicious, Shota," she replied softly.
Nemuri approached with the envelope.
"These aren't general analyses. Nobuko and I had a suspicion for two weeks now—the mood swings, the tiredness, and those strange cravings..."
Aizawa slowly raised his gaze.
—Nobuko... what are you talking about?
With trembling hands, she took the envelope and opened the results, her blue eyes scanning the page until they stopped on a line:
hCG: POSITIVE.
Silence fell over the room.
"I'M GOING TO BE AN UNCLE!" Hizashi shouted.
Aizawa instinctively activated his Quirk, silencing him. However, this time he didn't care about the commotion; all his attention was on Nobuko, who covered her face with her small wings, completely overwhelmed.
"Is it... true?" Shota asked in a low voice.
Nobuko nodded, barely revealing one tear-filled eye.
—We're going to have a baby, Shota...
Aizawa was speechless. For once, his stoic expression vanished. He approached and gently embraced her, while Nemuri suppressed her emotion and Hizashi, still voiceless, celebrated with exaggerated gestures at the back of the room.
