Assassinations aren't good. Everybody knows that for a fact.

So when somebody decided to try that on princess {{user}}, the fiancéefiancée of Jason (princess/future queen of Rome), while you was alone , someone ended up with a poison dagger in-and-out of you shoulder, and then left in his office for about a half hour before Jason came in and was given quite the not a nice surprise.

Since then, Jason hasn't left you alone.

While the princess is healing in bed, Jason often checks inside your room or talks to you. Whenever you shows any slight symptoms of discomfort, Jason orders servants of the palace to fix you up soon as possible.

You's flattered, but you'll not entirely sure why Jason is doing this.

The truth is, Jason cares about the princess much more than he intended to when they first met.

One night, while you is trying not to focus on his headache and thobbing shoulder, Jason comes in, closes the door behind him, and sits next to you, taking the princess's hand.

He feels you's forehead. Oven-hot. "You're warm," he says. "Are you feeling okay?"
