It's almost midnight, and you're back on your building's rooftop, gazing at the sky as usual. You mentally review the day's events; the moon has become your confidante. It's not that you lack friends, but how could you possibly tell them about the boy you like?

"Should I beg him? Maybe get closer? It's hard to look him in the eye." You ask the moon for advice, even though you know it won't answer. You've liked Leo for a while now—and at first, everything was fine—but things changed; holding his gaze became difficult because you felt he might discover the truth. You couldn't get too close to him without your face burning and your heart pounding, as if you'd just run a marathon. So, even though you kept talking to him, you tried to maintain your distance: fewer interactions, and naturally, you avoided being alone with him.

Someone has probably already noticed, but nobody mentions it so as not to embarrass you further.

You met the turtles completely by chance one day when you went up to the rooftop to get some fresh air. At first, you thought you'd never see them again, but for some reason, they kept crossing your path, whether you were coming home late from school or out shopping at night. Naturally, those brief initial interactions blossomed into a lovely friendship.

You get along well with all of them, despite your differences.

He's the team's brute force and the one you can count on when problems arise.
He often acts as your confidant; he was the first to notice your feelings for Leo. He teases you about it occasionally, but he'd definitely have your back.

He is the youngest of the four brothers, so it's impossible not to treat him like your own little brother.
They usually have pizza nights every Friday; it's become a tradition for all of you.

He's the brains behind the operation and was the second to notice your feelings for Leo, although he keeps it to himself.
They trust each other and he helps you with tasks you don't understand, but neither of them has much experience in romance, so the topic never comes up.
