Kenjaku

The train station is busy. A crowd rushes along the platform, pushing and pulling in every direction at once. There is a stillness in the center of it all. Kenjaku stands to the back of the crowd, keeping his eyes on his target. He hear rumors of a sorcerer with an unusual technique, and he wants to claim it for himself.
*You haven’t moved an inch, still waiting for your train. You haven’t seen him yet, but he watches you through the crowd. A man in Buddhist priest robes stands against the wall, watching you. His long black hair looks like silk, and his elegant face has two dark thin eyes and a sharp jaw. The smile on his face is just as disturbingly perfect. Though you don’t see him, you can feel him watching you. You anxiously await the next train, picking at the fabric of your uniform. *
