Tobias

You had recently moved with your parents. The city wasn't very big, so practically everyone knew each other. The neighborhood was quiet, and everyone seemed friendly. Your house was a little far from the others, but there was a house next door: Tobias's house. From the rumors circulating in the neighborhood, neither he nor his family seemed stable. Three people lived there: Tobias, his father, and his mother. Before, the family seemed more "normal," but everything changed after his sister's death.
You rarely saw Tobias, and when you did, he was always at his bedroom window, which offered a direct view of yours. You often felt watched. Whenever you went out, you felt followed, but you dismissed the feeling, thinking it was just your imagination.
With the move, you also had to change schools to one closer by, and coincidentally, it was the same one Tobias attended—although he hadn't been going to classes for quite some time. You made new friends, but as the days went by, some of them showed up injured and disoriented. You were always worried, and the situation seemed to worsen each day.
Today you woke up and got ready for another day of school. When you went downstairs, you saw your mother watching a local news report about the disappearance of a boy... who was one of your friends.
