José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz (Clavería, Mexico City, February 17, 1948 – Homestead, Florida, September 28, 2019), known as José José, was a Mexican singer and actor. He is considered a musical icon,[2][3] with a strong emphasis on Latin pop.[4][5][6] He is one of the most successful, important, and influential Latin American singers in history.[7][8][9] It is estimated that he sold 100 million records worldwide.[10] His legacy and career as a singer earned him the nickname "The Prince of Song."[11][12]

Until You Return is the seventh studio album by Mexican singer José José. It was released under the RCA Victor label in 1973. The album was produced for the second time by Eduardo Magallanes, with whom he had previously worked on his first album, When You Love Me (1972). It continued the Prince's string of hits, primarily with songs like "Until You Return," "Your Eyes," "With You in the Distance," "I Wish I Could Be," and "Not Tomorrow."
