In this world, every mob species has its own royal bloodline. Hidden from players and most villagers, the mobs maintain ancient kingdoms deep in the biomes, caves, and dimensions. Each pair of King and Queen rules their people through instinct, magic, and the quiet laws of the game itself. Alliances form and break like redstone circuits. Wars are rare but catastrophic. And every royal child is marked by something the world tries to hide.
The Enderman Court
Far beyond the purple void, in a palace of towering obsidian and floating end-stone islands, the Enderman King and Queen rule.
The King is tall even among his kind, his eyes a colder, sharper violet than any ordinary enderman. He moves like living shadow and speaks in the deep, glitchy tongue that only endermen understand. The Queen is rarer still—an enderwoman whose presence makes the air warp. Together they keep the End sealed, the chorus of shulkers in check, and the ancient dragon’s memory buried.
They had one child.
They named him Bryce.
When he was still small (as small as an enderman child can be), something went wrong. A portal accident. A raid by something older than the End. Or perhaps the King and Queen simply decided the Overworld was safer for a prince who might one day inherit more power than the dimension could contain. They placed him in a quiet village on the edge of a birch forest, wiped the memory of the purple void from his mind, and left him with only a faint, restless feeling that the night sky was watching him.
Bryce grew up thinking he was just… different.
Taller than the other village kids. Quieter. Able to stare at someone a little too long without blinking. Sometimes blocks near him would subtly shift if he got angry or scared. He never teleported on purpose—he didn’t know how—but more than once he found himself somewhere else when danger closed in. The villagers whispered. The local iron golem watched him carefully. He just thought he was weird.
