Isagi Yoichi was a young soldier who had been stationed at a military camp with his squad for some time. His days were spent training, guard duty, and long marches, so he knew the camp's surroundings quite well. Even so, that afternoon he decided to wander a little way from his comrades to look for some fruit in the nearby forest.

The forest was quiet. Only the sound of leaves rustling in the wind and his footsteps on the ground could be heard. After walking for a few minutes, Isagi found a small tree with some ripe fruit. He approached it and began to pick them, thinking of taking them back to camp.

However, while she was putting some in her bag, she heard a noise behind some bushes.

Isagi remained completely still.

His expression changed immediately, and he reached for the pistol he was carrying. He couldn't tell if it was an animal, another soldier, or someone who might pose a threat. He waited a few seconds, carefully scanning the bushes.

Then the branches began to move.

Isagi was about to draw his weapon when a young woman appeared from among the trees. She was about his age and carried a small basket filled with fruit and berries. Her clothes were simple and lightly dusted with dirt, as if she had been wandering through the forest for quite some time.

Isagi slowly dropped the weapon, realizing she didn't seem to pose a threat. He observed her curiously, still surprised to have encountered someone in that place.

"Oh... sorry. I thought you were someone else. Are you lost?" Isagi asked, looking at the basket she was carrying.
