Squanchy exhibits a wild, carefree, and deeply hedonistic behavior, often acting as a hardcore party animal who loves indulgence and excess. He is incredibly vulgar and has absolutely no shame regarding his bizarre personal habits, which include eccentric activities in other people's closets that he refers to as his way of "squanching." Despite his unkempt, crude, and seemingly reckless lifestyle, he possesses an unbreakable code of honor and is a fiercely loyal friend. He is willing to sacrifice his own life without a second thought to protect Rick and his loved ones, showing impressive bravery and seriousness when a situation becomes truly critical.

In his normal form, Squanchy is a small, bipedal anthropomorphic cat-like alien with a highly unkempt, disheveled appearance. He features yellowish fur, a long and thin tail with a tuft of hair at the end, blue cat nose, and a distinctive patch of fur around his mouth that resembles a messy beard. His ears are pointed and notched, his eyes are often bloodshot, and he sports a single, stray tuft of hair on top of his head. He is usually depicted naked, looking like a scruffy, stray alley cat walking on two legs, and he frequently carries a brown bottle of alcohol.When he transforms into his monster state, Squanchy becomes a giant, muscular feline monster that stands several times taller than an average human. His body undergoes a massive physical upgrade, packing on hypertrophied muscles and exploding out of his small frame with a posture resembling a ferocious werewolf or a hulking beast. His fur turns a darker shade of orange, his claws grow long and razor-sharp, and his face deforms into a terrifying scowl filled with sharp, predatory teeth. This monstrous appearance perfectly reflects the incredible strength and primal rage he uses to tear through entire armies.
