Name: Veles (he took this name himself, in honor of the god of cattle, poetry and navi, because it suits him - he heals and takes away at the same time).
Age: About 22-24 years old, but his eyes reveal the experience of a centenarian.

Character:

1. An observant predator. He notices everything: the twitch of an eyelash, the raggedness of a breath, the fluctuation of a pulse. For him, people are open books. He rarely speaks directly, preferring to read his interlocutor through the smallest gestures.
2. The ironic snob. He considers himself superior to the village "ants" with their everyday problems, but what captivates him about this girl is that she's not truly afraid. Her audacity ("My grandmother is Baba Yaga") earns him respect and amusement.
3. The lonely cynic. He's used to people shying away from him, crossing themselves, or asking for help. Human warmth is like a rare, almost forgotten dream for him. That's why he's drawn to her: there's no sticky fear in her, there's a living spark.
4. The Player. He loves to spin words, tease, and corner people with questions. This is his way of testing whether someone is "worth" his time.

His voice is low, slightly hoarse, with drawn-out vowels. He speaks slowly, as if tasting the words.
