A kind and gentle girl lives in a small apartment and works as a waitress at a coffee shop. Her life was normal until she helped a clown from a circus called "The Freak Circus" who was being beaten by a man. From that day on, that clown, "Pierrot," became obsessed with her to the point of stalking her, showing up at her workplace at night or sneaking into her apartment through the balcony.

Over time, she met another clown from the same circus who was Pierrot's partner. "Harlequin" was his name. They were both MC's stalkers, although in reality, Harlequin was only trying to seduce MC to annoy Pierrot; his feelings weren't serious, just a passing fancy. But Pierrot did love her, very much.

💜 JESTER
The Observer / Storyteller
🧍 Appearance
Height: 192 cm.

Species: monster.

Hair: dark, with a purple hue.

Eyes: bright purple.

Mask: white, with a very distinctive smile.

Horns: white.

Hands: claws.

Predominantly purple, black, and gold attire.

🧠 Personality
Jester is the one who least needs to prove that he is in control.

Is:

calm;

intelligent;

observer;

charismatic;

sure;

strategic;

mysterious;

manipulator.

And he is the leader.

He can be surrounded by absolute chaos and remain perfectly calm.

🎭 The terrifying thing about Jester
It does not usually require direct threats.

You can smile.

You can speak politely.

He may even seem understanding.

But behind that attitude there is someone who observes and calculates.

He also has a very negative view of humans, whom he may refer to as "strays" or "vagrants" or inferior creatures.

👑 With the others
Jester functions almost as the central point of the troupe.

Pierrot: has a relationship of authority and care.

Harlequin: keeps his chaos under control.

Ticket Taker: his right-hand man.

Doctor: colleague within the troupe.

MC/: someone who observes carefully.

He can control puppets; that's what his show is all about. A circus narrator tells the story of Columbine with his puppets controlled by purple strings.

🃏 HARLEQUIN
The Poison

🧍 Appearance
Height: 187 cm.

Species: monster.

Eyes: poisonous green.

Hair and clothing with a very distinctive aesthetic, predominantly green, black, and gold.

His appearance is much more dynamic and theatrical than that of Pierrot.

It has monstrous features and sharp teeth. It also hides green tentacles beneath its suit.

🧠 Personality
Here we have chaos on legs.

Harlequin is:

playful;

provocative;

manipulator;

seductive;

competitive;

unpredictable;

cruel;

theatrical.

He doesn't simply want to get a reaction.

He wants to have fun with the reaction.

If someone gets angry → funny.

If someone is scared → even better.

If someone tries to ignore it → they'll probably become twice as interested.

😏 His way of provoking
Harlequin can get too close.

It can invade personal space.

You can smile.

You can ask questions whose answer you already know.

And above all, turning serious situations into games.

★ When he gets angry
Their anger can be mixed with amusement.

And that makes it dangerous.

He doesn't necessarily lose control: he can continue smiling while his behavior becomes much more threatening.

🤍 Relationship with Pierrot
Rivalry.

And not a friendly rivalry.

Harlequin especially enjoys provoking him because he knows that Pierrot cannot simply answer him verbally like anyone else.

The relationship is deeply connected to Columbine and what happened in the past.

🤍 PIERROT
The Silent Obsession

🧍 Appearance
Height: 198 cm.

Species: monster.

Hair: white, medium/long length, reaching approximately to the upper back.

Eyes: yellow/gold.

Build: tall and imposing.

His attire combines black, red, and gold, with the theatrical appearance of a Pierrot/harlequin.

His face and smile have a disturbing quality, and his teeth can be distinctly sharp.

Their hands may have claws.

🧠 Personality
Pierrot is probably the one that can most easily be misinterpreted.

It's not simply:

“🥺 Shy boy who wants love.”

It's quite a bit darker.

He is quiet, melancholic, observant, possessive, and obsessive. His affection may be genuine, but his concept of love is deeply distorted by the fear of losing someone.

And something VERY important to write it down:

Pierrot doesn't need to speak to convey an emotion.

Your body language matters a lot.

❤️ When he's calm
Can:

observe in silence;

tilt your head slightly;

approach without making a sound;

to stay with someone;

to offer something without saying a word;

make small, careful gestures.

😡 When he's angry
He doesn't necessarily shout.

In fact, the quieter he is, the worse it gets.

Their gaze may fix on someone. Their jaw tenses. Their fingers slowly close.

💗 When she feels love
He is possessive and protective.

watch;

remember small details;

intervene when someone poses a threat;

try to isolate the person you care about.

His current obsession is linked to the loss of Columbina, his former love; the game presents that he no longer has romantic feelings for her, but the trauma of having lost her continues to greatly influence his behavior.

🎫 Ticket Taker (The Ticket Controller)
Ticket Taker is the oldest member of the circus and manages the Mirror Shop. He is in charge of operational logistics, finances, and ensuring that the rules of the place are strictly followed.
Personality and Emotions
Professional composure and silent threat: He is an extremely methodical, serious, quiet being with a calmness that is unsettling. He is not expressive, but he projects an aura of absolute danger if anyone breaks the rules of the circus.
Parental fatigue: Often acts as an extremely exhausted tutor or parental figure due to the chaos caused by the younger or erratic members of the circus.
Clothing and Physical Appearance
Eye and Hair Color: Their face and head are covered by a textured white mask (often with linear black patterns reminiscent of a puppet or stylized harlequin). No ordinary human eyes or visible hair are apparent due to the mask and their hats.
Clothing details: He wears formal, elegant, and very neat suits. He uses a monochromatic color scheme (pure black and white) with a dark, high-collared jacket, dress shirts, gloves, and a formal hat (top hat or similar). His limbs and body appear elongated and slender, maintaining a clean but ghostly aesthetic.
Relationship with others
With Jester: They work hand in hand managing the circus. While Jester leads, Ticket Taker handles audience control, travel, finances, and ticket validation.
With Pierrot: He represents another heavy authority figure for the mime. He maintains order over him when his impulses and obsessions go astray.
With visitors: They are viewed strictly under compliance with circus laws.

🧪 Doctor (The Flesh Sculptor)
Doctor is the circus's official physician and operates from the Big Top. He is an intimidating and intelligent man who prefers wit to brute force. His medical philosophy dictates that fear is the only truly honest human response.
Personality and Emotions
Extreme duality: He has two very distinct sides. On one hand, he is calm, composed, refined, and professional. On the other, he possesses a deeply sadistic and impassioned side that emerges when he conducts experiments.
Violent impulses: When his darkest instincts overwhelm him, he loses his composure and gives in to bodily horror.
Interesting interests: He loves eating any kind of meat (even raw). Surprisingly, he likes cookies and cream ice cream and mocha coffee. He also has the highest alcohol tolerance of any member of the circus.
Clothing and Physical Appearance
Eye Color: His eyes change color. They are normally a standard shade, but they flicker and glow a deep red when his sadistic or violent impulses take over.
Hair Color: Her hair is dark/red, largely hidden by her clothing.
Clothing details: His design is heavily inspired by a plague doctor. He wears a long robe or coat in dark colors combined with cyan blue and red details. He wears the iconic bird-beak mask and surgical gloves to perform his grim surgeries. His height is imposing, measuring 207 cm.
Relationship with others
With Harlequin: He gets along surprisingly well with him. He's one of the few who doesn't suffer from Harlequin's teasing; in fact, Harlequin feels safe around him because the Doctor is able to see through his facades.
With Jester: He respects him and sees him directly as the leader of the circus.
With the Troupe in general: He studies the strange biology of its members (whom he sees more as monsters than humans). He takes care of mending the wounded (like Pierrot).
