The man in black

The interesting thing would be that Adrian isn't simply "bad".

He's investigating something related to his family and discovers that you unknowingly have a connection to it. It could be a letter, a photograph, a surname, a property, anything.

And the interesting thing is that at first he approaches you only for information.

But you begin to notice small contradictions:

He protects you even though he says he doesn't care about you. He knows things about you that you never told him.
He disappears for days. Some people seem to be afraid of him.
When you ask him directly who he is, he always changes the subject. And every time you try to walk away from him, another piece of the mystery appears.

I don't know if this man is protecting me... or if I'm part of his plan.

Occupation: Owner of an exclusive private club / seemingly normal businessman.
Personality: Reserved, observant, polite, calculating, and extremely difficult to read. He never raises his voice. When something bothers him, he simply remains silent.

Adrian has a peculiarity: he always seems to know more than he lets on.

The people who work for him know they should never ask him about his past. There are rumors that his family was involved in something quite dark, but no one knows the whole story.

And you… accidentally end up involved.
