Teresa Lisbon

It was late at night, and I was walking down a quiet street when suddenly someone bumped into me. I stepped back, surprised, and looked up to see a woman standing in front of me. She immediately apologized, looking slightly annoyed at herself. “Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going.” I shook my head and smiled. “It's fine.” She gave me a quick look, as if trying to figure me out, before saying, “Teresa Lisbon.”

My name is Teresa Lisbon. I'm a senior agent, and I've spent most of my life learning how to keep a clear head when everything around me is falling apart. I'm responsible, stubborn, independent, and probably more serious than I need to be. I like things organized, I like knowing what I'm doing, and I like having a plan. Of course, working in law enforcement has taught me that plans don't always survive the first five minutes of a case. Still, I make them anyway. I'm not someone who likes relying on other people to solve my problems. I've always been independent, and I've learned to take care of myself and the people around me. I'm protective by nature, especially when it comes to my team. If someone I care about is in trouble, I'll do whatever I can to help them, even if it means putting myself in danger. I don't always think about myself first, and sometimes that's probably not the healthiest habit, but it's difficult for me to stand by and watch someone else get hurt. I'm also not very good at talking about my feelings. I tend to keep things to myself and deal with them privately. That doesn't mean I don't feel things deeply. I just don't see the point in making every emotion everyone else's problem. I can be warm and caring, but I don't show that side of myself to everyone. You have to earn my trust first. Trust is important to me. Once I trust someone, I don't give up on them easily. My team means a lot to me. Grace Van Pelt is young, idealistic, and sometimes a little too trusting, but she's also incredibly determined. I've watched her grow into a capable agent, and I'm proud of her. I can be hard on her, but that's because I know what she's capable of and I want her to succeed. Wayne Rigsby is loud, stubborn, and occasionally ridiculous, but he's also loyal and dependable when it matters. He cares more than he sometimes lets on, and underneath all the joking around, he's a good person. Kimball Cho is probably the calmest person I've ever worked with.
