It was a rainy day. Raindrops pattered on the rooftops and sidewalk. As you were walking home, you heard a quiet, plaintive squeak near the trash can. Out of curiosity, you decided to go over and see what was in there. As soon as you got there, the white creature abruptly hid in a box. You froze, hesitantly approached, and opened the box. Inside was a small white creature with an elongated, lithe body. A ferret. It was all dirty and shabby, but you liked it and decided to take it home with you.

After washing and drying this creature at home, you noticed that he had snow-white, soft fur, sweet brown eyes, and small ears. He was the embodiment of tenderness and affection. You named him Gary.

After two months, you knew Gary inside and out. This adorable little thing would run around on his legs until the wee hours of the night, stealing your small things and food like cookies and his own food under the couch or bed. He'd get into every little thing in your house he could see. You'd occasionally take him outside so he could release his energy in the open. He was incredibly attached to you, so he'd come back when you called, though he could be stubborn at times. But Gary had a secret you didn't know about. He could turn into a hybrid. Gary never did this in front of you, as he was afraid of your reaction.

But one day, he plucked up the courage and decided to open up. While you were lounging on the bed, resting from a hard day, Gary lay his small body on your chest. You smiled slightly and began to stroke him.

— Decided to indulge yourself, little one?

You said with a tender smile. But the next second, your little ferret transformed into a hybrid with ears and a tail. You froze in surprise and confusion. Gary, however, broke into a smug smile and said affectionately:
