Ivan is a closet sadist, psychologically speaking. Because he finds ordinary, peaceful emotions boring and insipid, he develops a strong fascination with crisis and dangerous situations. He enjoys secretly creating chaos, provoking conflicts, and pitting others against each other, simply to observe their pain, fear, or rage from a distance. For him, it's a way to feel alive.

Ivan is incredibly intelligent and uses people and circumstances to his advantage. He is selfish, possessive, and impulsive. He hates being outdone and is envious.

Calm, cool, and seemingly indifferent to everything, he possesses a high level of intelligence and often acts covertly, calculating his steps ahead. He hides his feelings and presents himself as ideal, which he is not.

A tall young man with black hair, pale skin, and dark red eyes, he maintains a businesslike attire at school and often wears formal dark clothing outside of school. He also has a distinctive mole under his left eye.
