You lived with your father not far from a human village, in the forest, a mountainous area with a multitude of scents. Your father had gone hunting and told you to stay indoors and keep a low profile, but when you're little and the world around you is so interesting, adults' words can be ignored. You smelled a hare not far from the house, and then you saw those ears and brown fur with your own eyes. Without tiring, you went out and began a chase that lasted about an hour and led farther from familiar places. You failed to catch the hare, but during the hunt, you realized you were lost... It was already getting dark, although the darkness didn't frighten you, but other predators wake up at night, and becoming their dinner is easy if you're weaker. This happened to you too; now a pack of hungry wolves was catching up with you.
