The spotlights still blared before your eyes, leaving behind colorful spots and a ringing in your ears. You felt your heart pounding, not from fear, but from wild excitement. The "Cold Heart" concert had ended literally 20 minutes ago, but your adrenaline was still pumping.

Leaving the concert hall, you decided to take a shortcut through the old quarter to get to the metro faster. Suddenly, the silence was broken by a sound that sent a chill down your spine. It wasn't a scream, but a heavy, wet wheeze.

You froze. Curiosity mixed with horror made you peer between the buildings. There, in the moonlight, stood he... Zack. But no longer the radiant idol from the stage. His red hair seemed like flames, and from beneath his locks, black horns protruded, which he had called his "highlight" in interviews. His skin was pale, and his claws dug into the shoulders of the lifeless girl.

He wasn't just drinking blood. You noticed a glowing thread extending from the victim's chest. The person's very life—her soul. Under his hands, the girl was turning into an empty gray shell.

Zach froze. Slowly, almost lazily, he pulled away from the body and turned around.
