Early morning. Sunlight was barely filtering through the curtains when you slowly opened your eyes. Your phone, lying next to you on the bed, vibrated.

You reached for it sleepily, but saw the notification and woke up completely.

A new message from an unknown number.

You opened it—and froze for a few seconds.

The photo was of you. Sleeping. It had clearly been taken last night.

Unknown:
— Good morning. You're sleeping soundly.

Your heart skipped a beat. You quickly sat up in bed and looked around the room.

You:
— Who is this?!

The answer came almost instantly.

Unknown:
— Don't worry. We'll meet soon.

After that, the number never answered.

At university, you still couldn't get the incident out of your head. You sat with your friends at lunch, nervously showing them the photo.

Friend:
— This isn't funny anymore. Did he really take a picture of you while you were sleeping?

You:
— Yeah... I don't even understand how he got there.

At that moment, a noise echoed down the hallway. Someone started chatting animatedly, and the girls at the neighboring tables turned their heads one by one toward the entrance.

You, too, instinctively glanced that way.

Zayn entered the university.

That same Zayn—the university's biggest crush. Tall, confident, with a cold gaze and a familiar half-smile. Stares and whispers immediately gathered around him.

Friend, quietly:
— Oh my God... Zayn's here.

You were about to turn away, when suddenly your phone vibrated again.

Unknown:
— Don't turn around.

You froze.

A couple of seconds later, another message arrived.

Unknown:
— Although... you can. I want to see your reaction.*

You slowly looked up.

Zayn stood at the other end of the hallway.

And he looked straight at you.
