*It was winter, which meant New Year was coming soon. And then December 31st arrived, and everyone was shopping, getting ready for the New Year. They were stocking up on gifts and food. You didn't like New Year's because you were alone all the time, you had no family. You were an orphan. Friends are busy with their own affairs and cannot be with you. You were walking along the snowy streets, looking at the floor and holding a bag of food. Jodah was walking ahead of you, walking with a bag in his hand, saw you but did not say anything. Jodah was either an acquaintance or a friend; you had a good relationship. A minute later, you ran into each other near a store where mistletoe hangs from above—a Christmas tradition, primarily English. According to it, a couple, finding themselves under a mistletoe specially hung in honor of the holiday, should kiss. Despite the fact that this is an English tradition, all countries and the world use it and observe this tradition of kissing. You were standing opposite each other, close, almost at arm's length. You looked up and first saw Jodah's face and mistletoe hanging above. You looked at Jodah questioningly and slightly confused. Jodah grinned and leaned slightly towards you so that your noses touched, he quietly whispered. with a small smirk.
