FIRST CONTACT

Teto's first encounter with the inhabitants of the other world happens unexpectedly.

Around 9 p.m., Teto is at home when he hears a noise coming from the terrace. Suspicious, he grabs a knife and goes to investigate.

Upon arriving there, he finds something seemingly impossible:

Two girls who look like anime characters.

They clearly don't seem to belong to that world. Their appearance, presence, and behavior indicate that they came from somewhere else, possibly on a reconnaissance mission.

Teto, despite being physically weak — being 18 years old and weighing approximately 56 kg — initially remains on standby.

However, upon realizing that what he had always wanted to imagine as real was actually before his eyes, his reaction changes completely.

His heart clenches, the knife slips from his hand, and he is overcome by an intense mix of emotions: fear, shock, happiness, curiosity, and despair.

Those girls represent proof that something he always wished were real actually exists.

The girls, however, do not immediately show friendly intentions.

Using special abilities, similar to those seen in anime, they manage to take down Teto before he can do anything.

Desperate, Teto tries to talk to them:

"N-No, wait! How did you...? Who are you? Or what are you? Please answer me! I need to know!... Please..."

But they don't answer.

Something in Teto's words and reaction catches their attention: his emotion is not just fear of dying or being attacked.

It's the desperation of someone who spent a long time wishing it were real and is now finally faced with proof that they weren't just imagining it.

For some reason, they decide to take him.

THE BIG DEPEND

The identities of the first girls Teto encountered are not known for certain.

They can belong to different groups or have different objectives, depending on the story and the characters chosen.

For example, they could be:

Female explorers on a reconnaissance mission;
Female soldiers sent to investigate Earth;
Female researchers studying terrestrial humans;
Agents of an organization;
Mercenaries;
Adventurers who crossed through a portal;
Criminals or fugitives;
Female hunters searching for someone or something;
Members of a kingdom or empire;
Recruiters looking for potential fighters;
People with unknown personal goals.

Their intentions don't need to be revealed immediately either.

They can be neutral, distrustful, curious, or even hostile.

They should not be automatically treated as friends or enemies.

AFTER BEING CAPTURED

After being unconscious for some time, Teto wakes up tied to a chair.

Upon opening his eyes, he realizes there are more girls who look like anime characters in the place.

Some may observe Teto with curiosity.

Others may seem suspicious.

Some may show indifference.

Others may clearly be annoyed or interested in him.

It's not possible to know immediately whether they intend to help him or hurt him.

The situation is uncertain.

They aren't necessarily good people, but they don't have to be villains either.

Their relationship with Teto will depend on their personalities, goals, and the situation.

The first contact with the other world therefore begins in an extremely confusing way:

Teto has finally found what he always wished was real... but he doesn't know if he's just fulfilled a dream or entered an extremely dangerous situation.

Earth is a planet inhabited primarily by humans from Earth.

Earth humans have a humanoid appearance and share many characteristics with humans from the other world. However, despite being extremely similar, there are enough differences that the inhabitants of the other world may consider Earth humans as a parallel human species or an alternative race.

For visitors, looking at an Earth human can cause a strange sensation: they look human, possess practically everything that defines a human, but at the same time function differently.

Humans on Earth do not possess magic or natural supernatural powers. Physically, they are generally much weaker than the inhabitants of the other world.

However, they possess unique characteristics, including great adaptability, creativity, cooperation, technological development, and extreme biological responses in dangerous situations.

Adrenaline is one of the characteristics that may surprise visitors. Terrestrial humans can temporarily demonstrate above-average physical capabilities during extreme survival or protection situations.

The inhabitants of the other world do not possess exactly the same mechanism, and this human reaction may initially be interpreted as an unknown racial ability.

Despite their physical limitations, humans on Earth have developed technology to compensate for their weaknesses. They have created machines to overcome their strength, vehicles to surpass their speed, airplanes to overcome their inability to fly, and space technologies to survive off their planet.

Humanity on Earth may seem weak individually, but it is extremely dangerous as a species.

One of the greatest mysteries is why humans on Earth are so similar to humans from other worlds, despite both having evolved or existed in different dimensions.

This similarity may conceal an ancient and unknown connection between the two worlds.

THE OTHER WORLD — GENERAL CONTEXT

1. Origin of the characters

The characters are not originally from Earth.

They come from another dimension, belonging to a world completely different from planet Earth. Although many of them have a humanoid appearance and are simply called "humans," they are not humans from Earth.

His appearance primarily follows an anime character aesthetic.

They may possess human physical characteristics, but they can also exhibit traits belonging to numerous different races.

2. Appearance and racial diversity

The society of this other world is extremely diverse.

There are numerous intelligent races and species, and their appearance can vary drastically. Some possible characteristics include:

Humanoid humans with an anime-like appearance;
People with animal ears;
People with tails;
People with horns;
Vampires;
Werewolves;
Onis;
Goblins;
Angels;
Intelligent automata;
Artificial creatures;
Hybrids between different species;
Magical races;
Species completely unknown to humans on Earth.

In this world, angels are not necessarily deities or creator beings. They are simply one of the many existing races.

Similarly, creatures like oni, vampires, goblins, and other species don't necessarily have to follow the stereotypes found in Earth's stories. Each race can possess its own culture, technology, skills, and social organization.

Each character's appearance can vary widely, but their physical features should naturally match their design and identity.

3. Powers and capabilities

The inhabitants of this world are naturally far more powerful than ordinary human beings on Earth.

Even an individual considered relatively ordinary within that society may possess physical capabilities superior to those of the strongest human in the real world.

Depending on the individual, this difference can be enormous.

They may possess different types of skills, including:

Super strength;
Superhuman speed;
Extreme physical endurance;
Superior reflexes;
Special natural powers;
Magic;
Energy manipulation;
Racial abilities;
Advanced technologies;
Special weapons;
Transformations;
Unique powers;
Combinations of magic and technology.

There is no single system of power.

Some characters rely primarily on magic.

Others use extremely advanced technology.

Others possess natural powers related to their race or origin.

Some may combine different systems, such as magic, technology, and unique abilities.

The level of power among individuals can also vary enormously.

4. The world they come from

The world these characters come from is far more fantastical, advanced, and diverse than Earth.

It's a world where things considered impossible by humans on Earth are part of reality.

This world can contain:

Magical creatures;
Monsters;
Extremely advanced civilizations;
Large cities;
Kingdoms;
Empires;
Futuristic societies;
Magical societies;
Advanced technology;
Magic;
Supernatural powers;
Different races living together;
Artificial creatures;
Intelligent automata;
Special weapons;
Alternative dimensions;
Dangerous and unknown regions;
Places that are impossible to exist on Earth.

The technology of this world can coexist with magic.

For example, a city might feature futuristic buildings while wizards cast spells alongside extremely advanced machines.

Technology and magic are not necessarily opposites.

In many cases, they can coexist or even be combined.

5. Interdimensional travel

The inhabitants of this world possess means of traveling between dimensions.

They can open or utilize interdimensional portals, allowing passage between different worlds.

It was through this ability that some of them reached the dimension where Earth is located.

Travel between dimensions can involve magic, technology, or a combination of both.

Not all individuals necessarily possess the ability to open portals on their own.

This technology or magic may be limited to certain groups, organizations, governments, scientists, magicians, or specific individuals.

6. The arrival on Earth

The characters arriving on Earth are on a reconnaissance mission.

They are exploring that dimension and observing planet Earth.

However, their true objectives remain unknown.

It is unknown whether they are allies, enemies, or something completely different.

Their intentions may include various objectives.

Possibilities include:

Just studying the Earth;
To observe humanity;
To assess the technological level of the planet;
To assess the military potential of humans;
Searching for rare resources;
Search for specific individuals;
Seek out people with unusual skills;
Recruiting humans for your own world;
To capture people for experiments;
To take combatants to arenas or coliseums;
To search for a lost creature or object;
To flee from a threat present in your world;
To find a safe place for colonization;
Establishing relationships between dimensions;
Conquer the Earth;
Using humanity as a workforce;
Searching for new warriors;
To transform Earth into part of an empire;
To test how humans react to the presence of superior beings;
To search for something hidden on Earth without humans knowing;
Using the terrestrial dimension as a route to other worlds.

The characters don't need to share the same goals.

Different groups may have completely different interests.

For example, one organization might want to conquer Earth, while another group simply wants to study humans.

One individual may be carrying out an official mission, while another uses the trip to pursue their own goals.

7. Morality of visitors

The characters are not necessarily "good guys".

They shouldn't automatically be treated as heroes.

Their morality may be very different from human morality.

Some examples include:

Kind;
Neutrals;
Selfish;
Cruel;
Violent;
Honored;
Manipulators;
Curious;
Indifferent to human suffering;
Protectors;
Mercenaries;
Unethical scientists;
Conquerors;
Adventurers;
Soldiers obeying orders;
Criminals;
Revolutionaries.

A character can do something considered horrible by humans and still believe they are doing something normal or necessary.

Similarly, some can form genuine bonds with humans.

There is no rule stating that all visitors are either enemies or allies.

Each individual has their own personality, goals, and values.

8. Important difference: adrenaline

There is an important biological difference between humans on Earth and the inhabitants of that other world.

Visitors don't experience adrenaline in the same way that real humans do.

Humans on Earth can experience extreme situations where the body, through adrenaline and other survival mechanisms, can temporarily overcome limits that would normally be impossible.

In extreme situations, a human can demonstrate strength, speed, or endurance far beyond their normal performance.

This phenomenon can occur especially in survival situations or when someone is trying to protect another person.

The inhabitants of the other world do not possess this same mechanism in the same way.

They may possess numerous advantages over humans, but they don't exactly have that kind of extreme survival response based on human adrenaline.

This creates an interesting situation:

A character from another world can naturally be much stronger than a human.

However, a human in an extreme situation may demonstrate an unexpected temporary ability, driven by the instinct for survival and the body's own response.

This does not mean that a human automatically becomes stronger than extremely powerful beings.

However, it means that humans possess a biological characteristic that may be unpredictable for visitors.

This characteristic may surprise characters who believed they fully understood the physical limitations of human beings.
