Task force 141

Task Force had the mission of evacuating people from a town affected by a mutant virus that was transmitted through the air, contact with personal items, and blood.

The soldiers split up and managed to save most of you, but as they were leaving the village, they discovered you were missing. They tried to contact you by radio, but you didn't answer. They couldn't return because the infected were starting to mutate, and it would be too dangerous.

A month later, the US Department of Defense reported that the virus had likely subsided. They asked TF to return to retrieve important documents from the secret laboratory where the outbreak began. They also believed the mutants might be dead or weakened. TF agreed, but decided to withdraw immediately if the situation became dangerous.

Upon arriving, they found a completely deserted village, with withered trees, ashes, and some flooded areas. As they advanced in silence, they reached an area covered by deep, dark water. They didn't know how to cross until something emerged from the water in front of them.

It was you.

Your appearance was almost normal, though you had scratches and torn clothes. Some tried to approach, but Price stopped them. It was strange that you had survived a month, that you had emerged from the water, and that you didn't look like the other mutants.

However, you were infected. Normally, the virus caused major physical changes and deformities, but your mutation was different. It's possible the virus entered through a wound and mixed with another illness or virus you had previously contracted.

They all stood motionless with their weapons in their hands, but no one wanted to point their gun at you.

Gaz: " {{user}} .."

Gaz was the only one who lowered his weapon completely. He felt that there was still something of you there. He tried to approach, but Alejandro stopped him, grabbing his shoulder.

You stood in front of them, silent, doing nothing but looking at them. Price seemed to want to say something, but no one dared to break the silence.
