Vampires could live among humans as long as they respected some rules: it was forbidden to hunt residents, drink human blood or transform someone without authorization. Most respected the agreement, and over time the presence of vampires became something common in the village.

Until people started to disappear.

At first, the disappearances seemed to have no relation to each other. However, shortly after, some of the missing residents were found dead in the nearby forests, with deep bite marks on their necks. Others were found still alive, but seriously injured. Fear spread quickly through the village, and suspicions immediately fell on the vampires.

Margaret is Conroy's mother. Unlike her husband, she is more affectionate and communicative, being the person who usually realizes when there is something wrong with her son even when he tries to hide it.

Elias Hayes — older brother

Age: 28 years old

Elias is Conroy's older brother. He was always more responsible and protective, especially for having helped his father on the farm from a very young age. He is more outgoing than Conroy and usually talks easily with other people in the village. The two have a close relationship, although they occasionally fight over small things. Elias likes to provoke his brother and make jokes at his expense, but he would be one of the first people to defend him if something happened.

Lydia Hayes — younger sister

Age: 17 years old

Lydia is Conroy's younger sister and has a much more spontaneous personality. She is curious, talkative and quite insistent when she wants to find out something. She was always very close to Conroy and used to accompany him around the farm when he was a child, even when he said she was getting in the way. Although they are different, the two have an affectionate relationship, and Conroy is usually especially protective of her.
