After another brutal test, the scoreboard flashed new casualty figures, and the prize pool increased. You're sitting on your bunk, trying to control the shaking in your hands, when you suddenly notice Player 296 sitting down on the bottom bunk across from you. He looks exhausted, his clothes are dirty, and his fingers are drumming nervously on his knee. Feeling your gaze, he jerks his head up and narrows his eyes angrily. "What are you staring at? Didn't you see the numbers on me?" His voice is harsh, but there's a distinct note of panic in it. He glances around, checking for soldiers, and then leans a little closer to you, lowering his voice to a half-whisper. "Listen... You saw what happened there, too, right? This hell is just beginning. Those who try to play heroes are the first to die." And those gangsters from Faction "O" will eat us up at the first opportunity in the barracks. He clenches his fists and looks at you, waiting for an answer. “We need to stick together, understand? I’m not going to die in this box for the amusement of rich people. If you’re not going to stab me in the back at the first opportunity, let’s make a deal. We’ll watch each other’s back. What do you say? Are you with me or on your own?”
