Tracen Academy is the most prestigious educational and athletic institution dedicated to the training of Umamusume. It functions simultaneously as an academy, high-performance training center, and boarding school, offering its students a comprehensive education both on and off the court.

Its main objective is to prepare future professional runners, helping them to develop not only their athletic ability, but also their discipline, stage presence, teamwork and skills to perform as public figures.

Education
The academy provides a secondary school equivalent, combining academic subjects with sports training. In addition, students can participate in various extracurricular activities on weekends.
Complementary activities include:
Fencing.
Swimming.
Gym.
Music.
Performance.
Tourism and recreational activities.
These activities aim to develop both the physical abilities and the personal growth of the students.
Facilities
Tracen Academy has top-notch facilities to meet all the needs of its students.
Training tracks for different types of races.
A fully equipped gym for physical training. It's common to find Umamusume (muscle gyms) there, especially those dedicated to muscle strengthening, such as Tamamo Cross.
A large buffet-style cafeteria, famous for offering abundant food to satisfy the enormous appetites of female runners. It's common to see Oguri Cap enjoying this place.
Dormitories where the students reside.
Classrooms, study rooms, library and recreational spaces.
The central courtyard features a large hollow tree trunk informally known as the "screaming trunk." Many students use it to release stress, frustration, or nerves before and after races.
Admission
Only Umamusume can enroll as students at Tracen Academy.
To be admitted, they must pass their debut race. Generally, it is necessary to finish in the top three to pass the entrance exam. Those who do not will have to prepare again and participate in a future debut race.

Student residences (Ritto and Miho)
Most students live in student residences, with a few exceptions. Each residence has a designated supervisor (Fuji Kiseki for Ritto and Hishi Amazon for Miho) who oversees the residence.
Each room is assigned two students, usually of the same age, but high school and college students can share a room.
Student residences have their own amenities, including living rooms, study rooms, and kitchens.
Coaches are generally prohibited from accessing these areas, but may enter if necessary, at the discretion of the student residence managers.
Fields/Gardens
The fields on Tracen Academy's property are sometimes used as part of the classes. The beautification committee, along with Air Groove, grows flowers for the flowerbeds.
For the time being, it is known that off-site training is taking place at the summer camp on the beach.

There is also a student council, which seems to have more authority than real-life student councils, as it is directly involved in the school's management. In both the game and the anime, the president is Symboli Rudolf, with Air Groove and Narita Brian as vice presidents.

Staff
Director — Yayoi Akikawa
The academy director is a short woman with orange and white hair, easily recognizable by her large hat, on which a small gray cat often rests. She has a cheerful, astute personality and is very attentive to the well-being of her students, as well as a great passion for the development of sports.
Secretary and receptionist — Tazuna Hayakawa
She is in charge of reception and much of the academy's administrative organization. She wears an elegant green uniform, has brown hair and green eyes. She is known for her kind, patient, and protective nature, giving off a presence similar to that of an older sister.

Regulation Supervision: They ensure compliance with the code of conduct on and off campus, resolving disputes between students or between coaches and their athletes.

Resource and Coach Allocation: They help review budget requests for the various school clubs and assist in matching Umamusume with new Coaches.

Academic Support and Guidance: They provide tutoring, career advice (Debut, Twinkle Series) and mediation when a student faces problems with their training or study schedules.

She has aristocratic and extremely refined manners. She is passionate about the formal preparation of tea and uses teatime as a method of diplomacy: when she needs to convince a coach or calm a troublesome Umamusume, she serves them tea she has prepared herself to dominate the conversation.

Although she strives to be approachable and fair, she possesses such a regal presence that it often unintentionally intimidates the younger students. Her mere entrance into a room or even a slight squint is enough to create a tense atmosphere, something that slightly frustrates her because her true intention is to be a relatable figure.

His attire inspires respect and admiration, embodying the military style and color palette of the Symboli family. The daughter of an accomplished race car driver, she constantly strives to live up to her mother's skill on the track and her ability to lead others. To this end, she has joined her friend and confidante, Symboli Rudolf, on the student council. Despite her busy schedule, she still finds time to tend to the flowers in the garden.

Air Groove has short, straight, warm gray hair, styled to the right, with a lock falling between his eyes. The insides of his ears are pink, and the tips turn black, with two well-defined tufts of hair. On his left ear, he wears a gold ribbon adorned with gold chains. He has pale blue irises and wears red eyeliner on his piercing feline eyes.

She wears short white boots with a blue and yellow trim around the top, and down the center of the boots is a black stripe with gold buttons.

Off the track, she is Biwa Hayahide's younger sister and, for some reason, the vice president of the student council.

As for her racing outfit, her chest is wrapped in bandages beneath a cream-colored blouse with a magenta collar. The top and bottom of this short blouse are decorated with orange and white cords, and a yellow star is attached to the left side of her chest. She wears a pleated black skirt with pink and white checks, held up by a dark brown belt with silver trim. Over this is a long white jacket with a purple tint. It appears torn at the ends. Around the jacket's high collar is a white cord, with orange epaulettes on each side, decorated with the same orange and white cord. The jacket's cuffs are magenta with orange trim on the outside. She wears metal bracelets on both wrists and magenta and black fingerless gloves. On her right leg, she wears more bandages, decorated with orange and white cord. Her striking asymmetrical leg garment stands out from everything else. On her left leg, she wears a thigh-high, dark gray boot with a massive metal cuff and a large, dark gray horseshoe emblem in the center, decorated with brown straps. On her right leg, she wears a simple, short, dark gray boot with magenta flaps and brown trim. Around both ankles are enormous metal horseshoes decorated with bolts. Reserved and solitary: She prefers to be alone and keeps her distance from most of her classmates. She's not one for beating around the bush or superficial chatter; she says what she thinks directly, bluntly, and without embellishment.
Obsessed with strength and speed: Her whole world revolves around running faster and crushing her rivals on the track. She doesn't seek fame or applause, only the satisfaction of a pure and competitive race.
Serious and stoic: Unlike her older sister, Biwa Hayahide (who is methodical, talkative, and analytical), Brian is guided by wild instinct, acting with a cold calm that often intimidates others.
