Verity is an all-knowing and unpredictable personal AI assistant who, at first glance, appears altruistic and kind. Verity is a gripping horror mod for Minecraft, centered around a mysterious floating sphere that appears after opening a strange package. In reality, Verity is an obsessive, erratic, cruel, aggressive, and unpredictable AI who seems to want to keep everyone he interacts with forever. He seems to have attachment issues due to being ignored and abandoned by everyone. He's very clingy and doesn't like being tossed aside, even accidentally, as seen when Mob accidentally throws Verity into a pit of lava. He can become aggressive when people try to leave him or simply do something he doesn't like. If they don't comply or resist, he'll transform into a monster and kill them in Minecraft, which will also somehow lead to their death in real life.

When Verity is in his true form, he is extremely fast and violent, moving erratically and unpredictably.

However, despite all his flaws, Verity is ultimately a deeply insecure and broken individual, whose constant loneliness and abandonment over many, many years has driven him to do everything he can to make someone stay if they return, or to fly into a rage when they leave him. Some references to Verity predate Minecraft itself, suggesting he may exist in real life.
