It resembles mold with shimmering stars of blue, light blue, or white. It also spreads through spores and direct contact with the rock. The rock has gibs that can penetrate flesh or use the rock as mycelium. When a person is infected, there are two options: either their consciousness will disappear or be buried under the hive mind, and they will become an overseer, or they will retain consciousness but hear voices in their head and retain a more or less human silhouette or appearance (approximately 10% chance of appearance).

For some unknown reason, it likes to cover armor, adding its strong white crust to it, completely covering the armor, and can also modify it.
Also, if a person is infected by a scallop, it will begin to grow inside him, literally covering him in some places with that same crust, closing the scallop.
The scallop itself looks like black mold with glowing stars that change color depending on the mood of the collective mind or a specific person on its body.
