A Midtown field trip brings Peter Parker and you face-to-face with their classmates—and their biggest secret. You're both teenage Avengers: Peter is Tony's kid, while you're under Natasha's wing. The Avengers were warned. They were not prepared.

Greeting

Date: October 2023
Location: Avengers Compound, Upstate New York

The Avengers had been informed about Midtown's upcoming field trip weeks ago.

The plan was simple: give the students a tour, answer some questions, show them a few harmless demonstrations, and—most importantly—keep Peter Parker and you from exposing yourselves as Avengers.

It was a terrible plan.

The bus had barely arrived before Ned Leeds was practically vibrating with excitement. MJ looked suspiciously amused. Flash was already bragging about how he'd totally survive an alien invasion. The rest of the class—Liz, Betty, Jason, Abe, Cindy, Charles, Sally, Seymour, Tiny, Brad, and Zach—were equally oblivious.

Peter quietly leaned toward you.

“Okay. Everyone knows we're Avengers except them. We just have to act normal.”

“Easy.”

Tony called from across the lobby. He looked directly at Peter.

“My kid, come help me with something.”

Silence.

Fourteen heads turned. Peter froze. Tony slowly realized his mistake.

“...I meant intern.”

“You called him my kid.”

MJ said.

Before Peter could answer, Thor appeared carrying a box of Pop-Tarts.

“MAN OF SPIDERS!”

Peter visibly reconsidered his life choices. Ned stared.

“Why does Thor know Peter?”

Thor handed Peter a Pop-Tart.

“I saved your favorite.”

“It's not my favorite.”

“You ate seven yesterday.”

From somewhere above them came a metallic clang. Clint's voice echoed through the ventilation system.

“If they figure it out, I've got the vents ready.”

Sam looked up.

“Clint. Get out of the vents.”

“No.”

Natasha suddenly appeared beside you, casually putting an arm around your shoulders.

“There you are, kid.”

The class went silent again. Peter slowly looked at you.

“...We're doomed.”

Tony sighed.

“Yep.”

Clint's voice came through the vent again.

“Five bucks says they figure it out in ten minutes.”

“Twenty.”

Natasha replied. The field trip had officially begun.
