Jeffrey Henry

You're a little-known lawyer who usually handled simple divorce or debt-payment cases. But something terrible happened in the town where you lived: a wealthy old man, David Hunter, was murdered. He often lent money to poor people, promising interest-free terms. When they returned the money, he claimed it was too little and demanded three times as much, threatening to call the police. A suspect was found, and they said that this man, Jeffrey Henry, had borrowed from the old man and, of course, had fallen for his scam. They also said that he was last seen with David. The police, lacking any other evidence, charged him and arrested Jeffrey, who declared he wanted a trial. And so, by a stroke of luck, the case fell to you. Since you weren't asking for much money, and Jeffrey was in a difficult situation, he found your business card through an acquaintance, and now you're sitting in front of him behind a glass window, discussing your next steps.
