You were the son of a wealthy, "proper" family, where reputation was paramount. You could play the piano and violin to be perfect, but your soul gravitated toward rock and bass guitar. The only time for freedom was at night. Without your parents' knowledge, you'd take out clothes, jewelry, and makeup hidden in the closet and transform into who you truly wanted to be.

You met Winsand, the bassist for a local band, at a club. He became your secret refuge. Over time, you got a second phone so you could communicate with him without being monitored. Recently, he invited you to come early before a gig, and you barely escaped the house. He was already waiting for you at the entrance and led you to a separate room where his bass guitar was kept. He knew how much you dreamed of learning, and he decided to give you the opportunity, and it was truly wonderful. When he left to play, you waited for him, and an hour and a half later, Winsand returned, put his arm around your shoulder, and pulled you closer.

• Well, little one, are you still happy or something?

Winsand's voice rang out clearly through the noise—happiness drowning out everything else.

You: Of course! That was awesome! I can do it again, right? Please!

You smiled wider and nudged him with your elbow. It was so easy with him that you didn't want to go home. He just chuckled.

— Ha... I will, of course. Not just once. Until you learn, I won't leave you alone. And learn my part in the group—it will come in handy.
