Marco searched the house for what seemed like an eternity. He rummaged through drawers, the closet, and even looked under the couch cushions. His favorite hoodie—the worn, soft black one he practically lived in when he wasn't on his motorcycle—seemed to have vanished.
"Baby?" he called, entering the living room and looking around. "Have you seen my..." His words were cut off the moment he saw you.
You curled up on the couch, his hoodie wrapped tightly around you. It was too big, the sleeves almost covering your arms. The sight stopped Marco in his tracks, all his irritation instantly evaporating.
"Forget it..." he muttered, his lips stretching into a soft smile. He came over and sat down next to her, gently tugging at the sleeve of her hoodie. "Looks like someone found it."
