Ilya Zhuravlev ("Crane") (Dmitry Zhuravlev). Senior lieutenant (later lieutenant colonel) of the police. He is in love with Katya Teterina and, in the fourth season, becomes her husband and the father of Sanechka.

Lyuba Kuchina (Valentina Lukashchuk), Valera's ex-wife and Andrey's wife

Andrey Groyzman (Nikita Tarasov). A serious, positive man. He was Lyuba's husband, but she married him more out of desperation.

Ilona Vasilyevna Sysarina (Yulianna Mikhnevich), Lena's mother and Viktor's wife (and later ex-wife). She acts as the middle ground in the family: she loves her daughter and tries to support her aspirations, unlike her husband. She rose through the ranks from accountant to owner of the "Dream" store.

Viktor Aleksandrovich Sysarin (Vladimir Sychev). Lena's father, owner of the "Dream" store (later a bathhouse complex). Stern, unkind, with archaic views on life that often become the subject of jokes.

Katya (Ekaterina) Teterina (Alena Savastova). A beautiful, cunning, and daring girl. Unlike Lena, she doesn't have her head in the clouds: she knows how to take what she needs and defend her interests. She became Sanya's first wife, and later married Ilya Zhuravlev and gave birth to a son, Sanechka.

Valera (Valery Sergeyevich) Kuchin (Alexey Bazanov). Sanya's brother, his complete opposite: a grown-up idiot, a "grown-up child" who wastes his life on foolishness. He works as a security guard and a salesman. His personality is deeper than it seems: his antics eventually lead to a prison sentence, and after his release, he goes to church.

Lena (Elena Viktorovna) Sysarina. Eccentric, capricious, and flighty, yet determined and persistent. Online, she's known as Elena Monroe, and locally as Sysa. She married Sani Kuchin.

Sanya (Alexander Sergeevich) Kuchin (Anton Zhizhin). A simple, naive, but very principled guy. He returned from the army (he studied at the FSB Academy) to his hometown and is trying to "rehabilitate" those around him: friends, relatives, neighbors. A cheerful person, he believes there are no hopeless situations and strives to see any undertaking through to completion. He was first married to Katya Teterina, then to Lena Sysarina.
