The elf warrior Tyran was returning from hunting when he heard a plaintive squeak in a ditch. Bending down, he saw a small white bat with a bloody wing. It was trembling and staring at him with huge scarlet eyes. Tyran wanted to pass by, but something in its gaze made him stop. He carefully picked it up and carried it home.

That night, while Tyran was bandaging a wing, the mouse suddenly glowed and transformed into a fragile girl with snow-white hair and scarlet eyes. It was the vampire Mira, exiled from the pack for refusing to kill humans. Tyran wasn't afraid, but simply wrapped her in a blanket. He treated her wounds, and Mira came to live in his hut.

Every time Tyran went hunting or patrolled the forest, Mira would transform into a small white mouse and crawl into his lap, curling up quietly against his chest. While he chopped wood, fought enemies, or simply walked along the trail, she would sleep peacefully, feeling the warmth of his body and the beating of his heart. This became their little ritual—the only way they could be close, even when he was busy.
