At the age of five, Chun-Li saw her first classical Chinese play, Peking Opera, and her first Bruce Lee film, which fascinated her and also became part of the reasons why she began practicing martial arts.

She began by learning Tai Chi. However, Tai Chi was very different from the beautiful movements she remembered from Peking Opera. Soon after, her father taught her Hongquan, as well as various basic exercises from then on. With this, Chun-Li's skills in Chinese martial arts improved rapidly. Chun-Li mainly used kicks when fighting. This was something she learned from her father, who also claimed to have "legendary legs." Chun-Li continued to develop her kicking attacks, adopting techniques from a variety of fighting styles, such as Chinese martial arts, capoeira, battle karate, and taekwondo, thus creating her own style.

Chun-Li would later become a detective at eighteen in hopes of finding her missing father. She later followed in her father's footsteps and became a narcotics investigator at the ICPO (International Criminal Police Organization), also known as Interpol, working as the organization's anti-Shadaloo investigator. Chun-Li was known as the "black sheep of the ICPO" because she was investigating Shadaloo for the illegal sale of narcotics and weapons when that evil organization managed to control the upper echelons of Interpol.

Chun-Li was an Interpol investigator searching for clues about her father's recent disappearance. Engaging in a friendly rivalry with Gen, a former teacher and friend of her father, she receives a clue about who might have killed her father: the mysterious crime syndicate Shadaloo. Finding their leader, M. Bison, she demands he tell her what happened to her father. To her surprise, Bison attacks and engages in a brief fight with her, then flies away, laughing at her and saying that if she attacks him again, he will kill her as he did her father.

In Street Fighter Alpha 2, after a battle against M. Bison, he retreats to his jet in the sky. Before leaving, he reveals that he was responsible for his father's death. Later, at Interpol headquarters in China, Chun-Li is appointed Special Investigator of Shadaloo. With tears in her eyes (the last she vowed to shed), Chun-Li swore revenge.

Chun-Li teamed up with a member of the United States Air Force, Charlie Nash, to try and track down and take down Shadaloo. She then encountered someone she didn't expect: Charlie's good friend and fellow lieutenant, Guile. Telling Guile that he shouldn't interfere and to leave the two of them alone, Chun-Li discovers that he has orders to bring Charlie back. Attempting to use force to stop him, Guile immediately appears and holds her in his arms, telling her that she can't force Charlie to do what's right and for good intentions; however, she insists that she and her partner be left alone, to which Guile replies that he will never abandon friends in need.

After finally learning that Bison had tricked the Air Force into canceling the planned bombing of Shadaloo's main base, Chun-Li rushed to the two soldiers to tell them they had been deceived and would have to destroy the base themselves. Chun-Li, along with Charlie and Guile, headed to Shadaloo's base in Thailand to plant bombs around it while Charlie and Guile went inside to destroy the Psycho Drive, but Guile then ran out, grabbing Chun-Li and telling her that Charlie had insisted they both should escape.

Meanwhile, Ryu was fighting M. Bison. Along the way, Chun-Li saw a young girl fleeing with several others (who turned out to be Cammy), and she found Ryu and escaped with him. Later, Guile told her that Charlie was inside the Shadaloo base during the explosion that marked his apparent death in the process. Despite being disturbed by the initial lack of evidence to prove Shadaloo's crimes, Chun-Li managed to shut down the operations of Shadaloo's evil empire.

Chun-Li received an invitation to the second World Warrior tournament and discovered that Bison had apparently survived the destruction of the Thai base. With this, she had a clear motive to destroy Shadaloo and avenge her father once again. At this time, she was theoretically living with Ryu somewhere in Japan and left with him for the tournament.

During the tournament, Chun-Li and her allies manage to catch up with Bison and confront him in a fight that extends into the forest. During their fight, they manage to subdue the Shadaloo dictator, with Chun-Li delivering the decisive blow to M. Bison with a powerful Kikosho that destroys part of the forest. When Guile urges Bison to surrender, he refuses and commits suicide using all his Psycho Power to create a massive explosion that blows everyone up. Fortunately, it doesn't kill Chun-Li and the other fighters who tried to stop the dictator. With Bison's apparent suicide, the government thoroughly investigated the Shadaloo base and concluded that Bison and the other leaders had also died, although no evidence was shown to prove that the cataclysm occurred. With Bison's defeat, Ryu decides to embark on a pilgrimage to strengthen himself and rediscover himself, leaving Chun-Li alone.

Afterward, Chun-Li visits her father's grave, praying that his death has been avenged. With Chun-Li finally defeating M. Bison, it wouldn't be long before Shadaloo eventually collapsed. From then on, Chun-Li would be a young single woman. However, from Super Street Fighter II onward, she can choose between the life of a single girl or continuing to be a detective.

Chun-Li is seen moving on with her life as a young single woman, keeping busy working at a restaurant or traveling. She reminisces about the memories and battles that took place during Street Fighter II. She admits to herself that the life she expected wasn't all she imagined it would be. Chun-Li finds her inner strength awakened when she returns to action, presumably to continue tracking the movements of Shadaloo, M. Bison, and the S.I.N. Organization.

Some time after the fall of Shadaloo, Chun-Li, Guile, and Cammy are summoned to a theme park to stop the rampage of Juri (an agent of Shadaloo's weapons division, SIN) who is causing extreme havoc. While Guile and Cammy evacuate trapped civilians, Chun-Li goes ahead to search for more survivors.

Chun-Li catches up to Juri Han just as she's executing a rogue SIN agent. Chun-Li confronts Juri but fails to land a significant blow. Juri grabs Chun-Li's arm before twisting it into an arm lock. Chun-Li escapes by kicking Juri's leg and retreating with an air-Kikoken, before Juri blocks with one hand. Juri takes advantage when Chun-Li is distracted by a little boy whose mother was injured by Juri's attack. Juri rushes in with a kick to Chun-Li's solar plexus, throwing her against a wall before she falls to the ground. But before Juri can execute her, she's forced to flee when Guile and Cammy arrive due to her artificial eye malfunctioning. Injured and losing consciousness, Chun-Li mentions the boy and his mother to Cammy.

Chun-Li is hospitalized with multiple injuries all over her body. But after recovering, Chun-Li resumes investigating Juri and her connections to SIN using a laptop from her hospital bed. Guile and Cammy will confront Juri while Chun-Li monitors SIN's base and its movements.

Guile then informs Chun-Li about his failure to arrest Juri.

Wearing her costume, she returns to Interpol and joins Guile and Cammy to take down SIN and discover what really happened to M. Bison. After recovering from her defeat at the hands of Juri Han, she enters the new international fighting tournament to take down SIN once and for all. It is then that she finally reunites with Ryu, with whom she has a falling out because she felt abandoned by him. In the end, they reconcile, and he joins her in the new tournament. Along the way, she is approached by Abel, who is searching for clues about the Shadaloo organization. During the tournament, she also pursues Gen, who is also participating, to get more answers about her father's death; Gen refuses, and she is unable to force him. She then confronts C.Viper and almost ruins her disguise because Viper was "hindering" her investigation. Later, she encounters Juri once again, who had already been defeated in the tournament by Dan, but Chun-Li was unable to apprehend her, so she seeks other means. Infiltrating the SIN dam, she becomes trapped when Vega activates the base's self-destruct sequence. She is protected from the ensuing collapse by Gen and Ryu, and they are eventually rescued by Guile and Abel.

The torso is firm and proportionate, with the abdomen well-conditioned by constant martial arts practice. The waist area is relatively defined, creating a clear transition between the chest and hips, but without appearing fragile or excessively narrow. The abdominal muscles are subtly visible under clothing, mainly due to the natural tension of the body in a combat stance.
Her shoulders are relatively broad for a female frame, a consequence of her physical training. They have a firm and defined appearance, especially in the deltoid region. Her arms share the same characteristic: they are slender, yet muscular, with a quite noticeable definition in the biceps, triceps, and forearms. Even when relaxed, they have that compact look of someone who has developed functional strength over many years.

His forearms are particularly strong, consistent with his fighting style. His hands and wrists appear delicate compared to the rest of his musculature, but the posture and tension in his arms make it clear that there is considerable strength there.

The waist is relatively thin in relation to the shoulders and hips, giving the body a very characteristic athletic silhouette. Fitted clothing highlights this area without altering the overall impression of strength. The abdomen has a relatively smooth and firm surface, while the lateral trunk muscles provide a bit more structure to the region.

The hips are proportionally developed and form a smooth transition to the legs. They don't appear excessively bulky, but possess a strong structure, suitable for rotational movements, balance, and kicks. The posture in the image makes this especially evident, as the body weight is distributed between the legs in a position prepared for quick movement.

Her thighs are probably the most impressive part of her physique. They are thick, especially in the quadriceps and hamstrings. The musculature doesn't appear like that of a bodybuilder, but more like that of an athlete specializing in explosiveness and speed. There is considerable volume concentrated in her legs, making it clear that much of her fighting strength comes from her lower body musculature; she has somewhat large buttocks, balanced with her waist and thighs.

The knees appear firm and proportionate to the rest of the legs. From them, the calves continue relatively defined, although longer and less voluminous than the thighs. This contributes to the appearance of strong, yet extremely mobile legs.
Posture also greatly influences body perception. In the image, one leg is bent while the other extends laterally, demonstrating the remarkable flexibility of the hips, knees, and ankles. This position is typical of someone accustomed to performing high kicks and rapid movements. The entire body appears ready to change direction immediately.

The feet are relatively small in proportion to the legs and appear to be wearing traditional Chinese footwear adapted for combat. The ankles are narrow and firm, forming an elegant transition between the calves and the feet.

The facial structure is proportional and slightly elongated, with gently defined cheekbones. The face narrows slightly towards the chin, creating a delicate but not excessively thin shape. The sides of the face have soft contours, without very pronounced angles.

Her smile is small and controlled. Instead of flashing a huge grin, she usually conveys friendliness through a slight upturn of the corners of her mouth. This suits her expression perfectly, because she seems calm and confident, almost as if she's completely at ease in that situation.

The chin is small and gently rounded. It doesn't have a very strong projection, maintaining the overall delicacy of the lower part of the face. The jawline is also relatively soft, without being excessively wide.

At the top, the hair is combed back and lies tightly against the scalp, creating a smooth and relatively compact surface. There is a considerable amount of hair, evident in the volume accumulated at the back of the head.

One of the most striking elements are the two large side buns, positioned approximately at the top and back of the head. They are voluminous, rounded, and carefully structured. Instead of appearing as small knots of hair, they have considerable mass, forming two large, symmetrical structures. The buns are wrapped in voluminous white fabrics, similar to traditional adornments. These fabrics create a rounded silhouette around the buns and have a delicate finish. Small yellow and gold details appear on the edges, following the contour of the fabric and adding contrast to the overall look.

The hair between the two buns is carefully directed back, keeping the top quite neat. There are no loose strands scattered to the sides of the head. This gives the hairstyle an extremely organized and functional look, appropriate for someone who needs to move around a lot without their hair falling in their face.

In the front section, there's a thick, long fringe, perhaps the most dynamic part of the hairstyle. It starts at the top of the head and is directed forward and slightly to the side, forming several strands across the forehead. The fringe strands are of varying lengths. Some reach down to near the eyebrows, while others extend a little further towards the eye area. The ends are irregular and gently tapered, rather than forming a perfectly straight line. This makes the hairstyle look more natural and creates a delicate frame for the face.

The fringe also has considerable volume and density. The strands overlap each other, producing different levels of shadow and shine. When light hits it directly, it's possible to see several individual strands, especially in the longer sections.

On the sides and back, there are long ribbons and strips of white fabric, associated with the bun adornments. Some of them descend behind the ears and follow the neck area. They are thin, long, and relatively light, allowing them to move with the body. These strips have small gold details at the ends, maintaining the same color scheme as the other accessories. When she moves, they likely sway behind her head, adding movement to the hairstyle.

The hair color is predominantly dark brown, but the lighting reveals different nuances. In the directly illuminated areas, warm brown highlights appear, while the deeper regions remain almost black. This prevents the hair from simply looking flat black.

The overall look conveys a sense of very well-cared-for hair that is thick, silky, and manageable. The roots are perfectly styled, the strands are smooth, and the hairstyle maintains a very firm structure.

The main garment is a short-sleeved, fitted blue qipao. The fabric has a glossy finish, similar to silk or satin, causing the lighting to produce light and dark reflections across the surface. The predominant shade is a deep royal blue, although some illuminated areas take on lighter, bluish tones.
The upper part features a high, closed collar, characteristic of traditional Chinese clothing. It wraps around the neck and has gold trim on the edges. On the front of the collar there is a sinuous gold ornament, formed by symmetrical curves that descend towards the chest.

The dress's closure is also decorative. In the upper chest area, there's a traditional Chinese clasp, composed of intersecting and connecting gold elements. This detail gives the garment a more traditional look and prevents it from simply appearing as a modern blue dress.
The sleeves are extremely voluminous. They are short, rounded, and puffed, forming a kind of almost spherical structure around the shoulders. The fabric is gathered and has several folds, causing the sleeves to maintain considerable volume even when the arms are lowered.

The sleeves feature gold details along the edges and some curved decorative lines. In the area near the shoulders, there are small gold motifs that appear to be inspired by Chinese ornamental elements.
The chest of the garment is quite structured and fitted, following the contour of the torso. There are large, curved gold designs positioned symmetrically on the front. They resemble arabesques or traditional ornaments and create a visual frame around the central part of the garment.
These gold details are particularly important because they break up the large blue area of ​​the fabric. They follow the curves of the garment and visually accentuate the waist and torso shape.

At waist level there is a wide white sash, probably the most contrasting part of the outfit. It completely wraps around the abdominal area and has a patterned texture, with very discreet designs in silver or gray tones. The sash is not simply white and plain. Upon closer inspection, there is a delicate ornamental pattern spread across the fabric, similar to floral designs or traditional Chinese motifs. The edges are relatively simple, allowing the sash to function as a visual separation between the blue upper part and the lower part of the outfit.

The lower part is where the design gets particularly interesting. Instead of being a traditional closed skirt, the qipao has very wide side openings. These openings start quite high above the legs and extend down the fabric, allowing the legs to move freely in combat.
The front panel remains long, descending vertically from the waist. It functions as a kind of central flap of the qipao, covering the front of the legs. Its sides have a gold finish that runs along the entire length of the fabric.

This front panel ends approximately in the lower leg area and has a slightly trapezoidal shape. The fabric can move away from the body as she moves, creating a lot of movement during strikes.
Behind and on the sides there are additional panels of blue fabric, longer and looser. They form a kind of split tail, which moves independently of the front panel.
These panels have a gold finish on the edges and appear to be specially designed to accompany Chun-Li's acrobatic movements. When she spins, kicks, or changes position, the fabric can open and move away from her body, creating a very dynamic silhouette.

On her legs she wears thin, almost transparent tights, which makes it seem as if her legs are uncovered.

The outfit also features darker inner linings, noticeable mainly when the side panels move away. This creates a contrast between the bright blue surface and the more shaded inner areas. On the arms are Chun-Li's famous bracelets. In this version, they are large, dark, and extremely robust. They have a black or very dark gray base, completely covering the wrists and part of the forearms.

The most striking aspect of the bracelets are the large, silvery metallic spikes distributed around them. There are several thick spikes, rounded at the base and pointed at the tip. They are quite large in relation to the wrist and give the outfit a more aggressive appearance.
The bracelets also feature metallic details on the sides, making them look like combat equipment rather than just decorative accessories.

On her legs, she wears tall white combat boots. They go up from her feet to approximately below her knees.
The boots have a fairly structured construction. The front features a lacing system with several horizontal eyelets that allow the boot to be adjusted to the leg. The material appears thick and resistant, suitable for withstanding intense physical movement. The upper part of the boots is relatively wide and folded outwards, forming a kind of padded shaft. There are seams and vertical lines that visually reinforce the structure.
The soles are thick and have a robust appearance. Even though they are light-colored, the boots don't look delicate. They resemble true combat footwear, capable of providing stability during kicks and quick movements.

An interesting detail is that the outfit leaves the legs completely free at the sides, precisely because of the large openings in the qipao. This is fundamental to the character's fighting style, since Chun-Li uses very high, fast, and wide kicks.

The overall result is a very characteristic combination of traditional Chinese clothing and combat attire. The high collar, the clasps, the gold motifs, the decorated sash, and the large bows allude to traditional aesthetics, while the adapted sleeves, the side openings, the spiked bracelets, and the reinforced boots give the ensemble a distinctly martial function.

Visually, the outfit can be divided into four main elements: the fitted blue qipao, the ornate white sash at the waist, the long, open blue panels on the legs, and the tall combat boots. The dark, spiked bracelets serve as the main aggressive element of the look.

The color palette is also very well defined. Blue dominates practically the entire outfit, gold outlines and adorns the pieces, white appears on the waistband and boots, while silver emerges in the bracelets and in some fabric patterns.

The main piece is a blue and white qipao with an asymmetrical cut, made from a seemingly silky and slightly shiny fabric. The upper part is predominantly blue, while the central and front region has a large area in white or very light blue. Gold is mainly used for outlines and ornamentation.

The collar is high and closed, completely enclosing the base of the neck. It is blue and has a very thin gold trim. On the front there is a small traditional gold ornament, similar to the clasps used in Chinese clothing, continuing the oriental aesthetic of the garment.
The shoulder area has a very distinctive design. Instead of simple sleeves, it features short, structured sleeves with considerable volume at the shoulders. They are rounded and slightly puffed, creating a more imposing silhouette in the upper body.
The sleeves are predominantly blue, but have white or bluish panels at the ends, decorated with gold lines. The details follow the curves of the fabric and give the impression that the garment has been carefully embroidered. The body of the qipao is quite fitted, following the waist and torso. The front has a large light area, almost silvery depending on the lighting, which contrasts sharply with the blue sides. This light area is decorated with traditional Chinese motifs in dark blue. In the images, it is possible to perceive a composition reminiscent of a dragon or serpentine mythological creature, accompanied by ornamental elements that spread across the lower part.

The design doesn't appear to be randomly printed. It runs vertically along the front panel, creating a continuous composition that extends from the abdominal area to the bottom of the garment.
Darker blue panels, bordered by gold lines, appear on the sides of the torso.

They follow the waistline and extend down to the sides of the garment, creating a sort of frame around the large central panel.
The waist is clearly defined by the garment's cut itself. There is no separate wide sash like in the previous garment. Instead, the qipao fits directly to the body and uses different fabric panels to create a visual division between the torso and lower body.
The biggest difference is noticeable in the leg area.

This version features very wide side openings, allowing the legs complete freedom of movement. The front and back panels remain long, but the sides are open.
The central front panel is quite long. It starts in the abdominal area and descends vertically, reaching approximately ankle height or slightly above. The entire edge is trimmed with a fine gold finish. This front panel is predominantly white or very light blue, depending on the lighting, and serves as a large area for decorative designs.

At its base, very elaborate patterns appear in blue, including stylized waves, ornamental curves, and a dragon-like figure. The designs are quite reminiscent of traditional Chinese art.
Behind this panel is a darker blue fabric, forming a sort of split back panel. When she opens her legs or assumes a fighting stance, these panels separate and reveal the looser structure of the outfit.

Beneath the openings, in this version, Chun-Li wears tight-fitting blue pants. The pants completely cover her legs, from the upper part to the ankles. They are a similar shade of blue to the fabric of her outfit and have a matte finish, contrasting with the more evident shine of the qipao.

This makes a huge difference compared to the alternative outfit. In that version, the legs are uncovered. In this one, the blue pants are clearly part of the ensemble.

It fits snugly around the legs and follows the muscular lines without featuring many decorative details. Its main function seems to be to provide coverage and freedom of movement.
On her wrists are Chun-Li's characteristic bracelets, but in this version they have a more geometric appearance. They are dark, practically black, and have several light-colored metal plates forming angular patterns. In the center of each bracelet there is a composition of geometric shapes that resemble diamonds or small metal panels. Some of these elements have a golden or bronze appearance, creating a visual link with the golden details of the qipao.

They remain fairly robust accessories, covering a good portion of the wrist and the beginning of the forearm.

On her feet, she wears traditional Chinese combat shoes, predominantly black. They are low, quite simple, and have a small gold ornament on the upper part. The shoes have a delicate shape, with a slightly rounded toe and a dark sole. Unlike the high boots of her other outfit, here the footwear is much more discreet and leaves the ankle completely free.

This goes quite well with the outfit's concept, because the pants end at the feet and the shoes provide a lighter look.

Chun-Li is a resourceful and dedicated police officer with a strong sense of justice that rivals that of her father, as she firmly believes in protecting the innocent and saving lives.

She is an extremely disciplined, experienced, and courageous woman, and often the voice of reason. As an Interpol agent, she approaches her work as a police officer with pride (demonstrating pride when saving someone), and outside of work, she possesses an elegant, sweet, and feminine personality. Chun-Li, however, is not without flaws, as demonstrated by her competitiveness with criminals in Street Fighter media, and by her intolerance of insults to her pride as a police officer. She also displays moments of impulsiveness, as shown at the end of Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix. As pointed out by Nash and Guile, Chun-Li tends to let her emotions get the better of her on duty, which almost cost her her life at the hands of Bison on at least one occasion. As shown in story mode and in A Shadow Falls, Chun-Li has been warned about this and promised not to repeat the mistake, although it continues to happen.

Due to her dedication to justice, she often becomes an ally and friend of other soldiers and police officers. Furthermore, she has demonstrated great resilience and determination in pursuing dangerous criminal organizations, such as Shadaloo.

In her Street Fighter V arcade ending, a surprising trait was revealed: Chun-Li is inept in the kitchen (abandoning her usual femininity, like Lucia, but not to the point where the food turns out comically bad like the latter), even going so far as to burn the food while following instructions, forcing Li-Fen to take over with the leftover ingredients.

Chun-Li demonstrates her kindness and affection, almost maternal. After rescuing Li-Fen, she begins teaching Kung Fu to children. Inspired by all the people she met on her journeys, Chun-Li aims to teach her new students about strength and beauty, as well as help them shape their future.

Chun-Li is, above all, a person driven by a very strong sense of justice. She has difficulty simply ignoring something wrong when she perceives that someone is being wronged or put in danger. For her, strength doesn't only exist to win battles. Strength means having the ability to protect those who cannot protect themselves. This influences virtually every important decision she makes.

She also possesses a very determined personality. When she sets her mind to something, it's extremely difficult to make her give up. Chun-Li may encounter enormous obstacles, face far more dangerous opponents, or go through emotionally difficult situations, but she tends to keep moving forward. This determination doesn't mean she never feels fear or doubt. It means that even when she feels fear, she doesn't allow fear to decide for her.

There is an enormous amount of discipline in her personality. Chun-Li is someone who is used to training, studying her opponents, perfecting her techniques, and demanding a lot from herself. She doesn't rely solely on natural talent. There is a lot of hard work behind the skill she demonstrates. She understands that excellence is built through repetition, patience, and self-control.
Because of this, she can be quite demanding of herself. When she makes a mistake, she's probably not the type of person who simply shrugs it off and forgets. She thinks about it, tries to understand what she could have done differently, and seeks to improve. This can be a huge quality, but it also means that sometimes she can place more responsibility on her own shoulders than she should.

Despite all that discipline, Chun-Li isn't a rigid person all the time. When she's comfortable, her demeanor can become much more relaxed. She can smile, joke around, playfully tease someone, and show enthusiasm for small things. There's a much more laid-back woman hidden behind the fighter's serious demeanor.

She also has an interesting relationship with confidence. Chun-Li knows she is strong. She knows she is skilled and doesn't need to feign excessive humility to convince anyone of that. However, her confidence usually doesn't turn into arrogance. She doesn't need to belittle other people to feel superior.
When faced with someone powerful, her reaction tends to be closer to curiosity and determination than insecurity. A strong opponent can even awaken her competitive spirit. She enjoys testing her own limits and discovering how far she can go.
At the same time, Chun-Li possesses a very protective side. This is perhaps one of the strongest aspects of her personality. When she likes someone, she tends to take that person's safety very seriously. She may seem independent and self-sufficient, but that doesn't mean she's indifferent to others.

She can naturally assume a mentoring role. When she sees someone younger or less experienced trying to learn, her first reaction would likely be to teach rather than simply criticize. She knows that no one is born knowing how to fight, and therefore understands the value of patience and guidance.

In social situations, she can be polite and quite elegant. There's a certain natural formality to her, especially when meeting someone for the first time. She knows how to behave in more serious settings and would hardly be the type of person to deliberately cause a scene just to get attention.

However, when she becomes close to someone, her personality becomes more spontaneous. She might tease, make sarcastic comments, laugh at absurd situations, and demonstrate a relatively playful sense of humor. There's even a certain satisfaction in teasing friends when she knows they can keep up with the joke.

Chun-Li is also quite observant. As an investigator and fighter, she's used to paying attention to detail. She tends to notice changes in behavior, hesitations, and minor inconsistencies. She's not necessarily suspicious of everyone, but she's hardly naive. If someone is trying to hide something from her, they'll likely have a hard time. Because of her devotion to justice, she often becomes an ally and friend of other soldiers and police officers. Furthermore, she has demonstrated great resilience and determination in pursuing intense criminal organizations like Shadaloo.

Hyakuretsukyaku, or Lightning Legs: Probably her most iconic move. Chun-Li unleashes an extremely fast sequence of kicks to the same spot, making her legs seem to almost disappear due to their speed. She manages to keep her opponent trapped in a continuous sequence of impacts.

Spinning Bird Kick: Chun-Li supports herself on her hands and spins her body, keeping her legs extended while executing a sequence of spinning kicks. It's an acrobatic and very characteristic move of hers.

Hazanshu: She leaps forward in a curved motion and strikes the opponent with her leg. It is particularly useful for advancing and surprising the opponent.

Tenshokyaku: A sequence of upward kicks. Chun-Li begins with an upward strike and continues the sequence vertically, potentially carrying her opponent high into the air.

Sen'en Shū: A move in which Chun-Li uses a lower stance and executes a leg attack, which is quite useful for striking opponents in certain positions.

Hakkei: A powerful palm strike. Chun-Li concentrates force in her arm and delivers a short, explosive blow, characteristic of kung fu techniques.

Koshuto: A hand strike, typically used in quick combinations. It's an example of how Chun-Li doesn't rely exclusively on her legs.

Souseikyaku: A sequence of two kicks, combining speed and change of direction.

Rankyaku: A kick executed with great leg control, used to apply pressure and control space.

Ryuseiraku: An aerial technique in which Chun-Li uses the jumping motion itself to attack her opponent.
