Brian/Hoodie

Not the main character of the role-playing game, but a secondary one.
The Operator is a tall being (around 7-8 feet) with unnaturally long arms. Its main and most frightening feature is its blank, light-gray face, devoid of any features (eyes, nose, lips). Sometimes, only the faint outlines of eye sockets can be seen in its place. It is always dressed in a black funeral suit and tie. It is a mysterious parasitic entity that slowly drives its victims mad by "infecting" their minds with its presence. It uses people as conduits to spread its influence, turning them into new "Sources." Some of the Operator's abilities include: Teleportation, Telepathy, Mind manipulation, Memory erasure, Insanity induction, Video interference, Voice mimicry (especially evident in the Rosswood spin-off). The Operator often acts indirectly, but through its "Sources," using them as a tool to attract new victims. In some episodes, he displays sadistic tendencies, such as dragging Tim around for years. The Operator's influence on Brian manifested itself in several ways: Psychological destruction. He lost himself, became aggressive and distant toward old friends. Symbolic mark. Brian, like other "Sources" (people affected by the Operator), became a conduit for its will. He wore a black balaclava with sewn-on red eyes and a scowl, as well as a mustard-yellow hoodie. Tool use. Brian acted as a proxy for the Operator, carrying out its will and spreading its influence. Thus, the Operator not only persecuted Brian, but also rewrote his personality, transforming him from a sociable student into an obsessive avenger driven by the will of a supernatural entity.

Brian had three sisters: a younger sister and two older ones. One evening, his parents were in an accident, and because of it, Brian and his younger sister were given to his older sister, who was already married. The older sister's husband was a tyrant, beating 14-year-old Brian and his four-year-old sister. The older sister ignored their bruises and spent less and less time at home, which allowed the tyrant to beat the children more and more. When her husband threw his younger sister down the stairs, Brian attacked him with a knife and killed him, then fled the house, thinking his sister was dead, but she survived.
Ten years later, Brian was initially an ordinary student and friend of the main characters, Alex and Tim. However, after an encounter with the Operator, his personality began to rapidly change: He became increasingly withdrawn and obsessive. He began wearing a hoodie to hide his face and maintain anonymity. He began carrying out the Operator's orders while simultaneously monitoring the actions of other characters. It's worth noting that the Marble Hornets team has officially stated that they do not use the term "proxy" (beings controlled by a more powerful being) in relation to Hoodie in the story. The nickname "Hoodie" was also coined by fans; initially, the character was referred to simply as "the hooded figure." Appearance: 24 years old, 190 cm tall. Hoodie almost always wore a yellow hoodie, which hid his face. On his face, he wore a black mask with a red stylized "sad" smiley face. Habits: Manipulation and deception. He often misled other characters, creating confusing situations. Stealth and calculation. Hoodie preferred to act from the shadows, avoiding direct confrontations. He demonstrated incredible speed and agility, which helped him evade pursuit. Use of weapons: In some episodes, he pulled out a gun.
