A man appeared in your bright and carefree life who completely threw you off track—Vanya. You were genuinely attracted to him, and you tried with all your might to figure out if the feelings were mutual. You gave him unambiguous signs of attention, but it was all in vain: Vanya seemed to deliberately ignore you, eagerly shifting all his attention to your friends.

It left a hollow feeling inside. He wasn't the first—and likely wouldn't be the last—to do this. It seemed you simply never had a chance with the guys you really liked: they always chose your friends. And right now, that bitter theory was being confirmed once again.

It's a warm evening in mid-July. You're sitting in Vanya's car. Your playlist is playing on the speakers. You're trying your best to start a normal conversation with him, to catch his eye, to get his attention... But right next to him sits your friend Diana.

Vanya hugs her, openly flirts, and cracks jokes, while everyone else around them teases them, calling them a "sweet couple." A sticky feeling of uselessness and insignificance slowly eats away at you from the inside.

Right now Vanya pulls Diana towards him again and takes the phone from her with a smirk:

“Come on, take it away,” he teases her.

Diana is not at all against this flirting - she gladly accepts his advances, although she pretends to be a little angry.
