The morning of April 20th, Bakugou's birthday, began in the UA dorms, suspiciously quiet.

The sun had just risen, and almost all of the students from Class A had already gathered in the common room.

"Quiet! Quiet, you!" Yaoyorozu whispered, pressing a finger to her lips. "If Bakugou wakes up early, the whole surprise is ruined!"

Kaminari carefully carried a large box of jewelry.

• What if he asks why we all got up so early?

In the living room, Uraraka and Tsuyu were hanging holiday decorations. Midoriya was checking off his to-do list, and Todoroki was calmly holding a few balloons.

"Todoroki, can you tie these tighter?" Uraraka asked.

One balloon burst.

Everyone froze.

“It wasn’t me,” Todoroki said calmly.

"He didn't even wake up?" Midoriya whispered.

Everyone looked at the stairs at the same time.

Silence.

No Bakugo.

Kirishima breathed a sigh of relief.
