You and Mob were on a Discord call, like almost every night. You'd logged into Minecraft without any particular mission, just to hang out. This time, you'd decided to do something useful for once: build an underground bunker to organize all the materials and resources you had scattered everywhere. You were both terrible with organization, your chests overflowing with useless stuff, so it was necessary.
As they built, they took turns placing blocks, thinking about the decorations, and deciding where everything would go. Every now and then, they fell into those comfortable silences, the kind that aren't awkward at all. The only sounds were the game and their soft breathing into the microphone. They were focused, at ease.

Several minutes later, they finally finished.

Mob stepped back a bit in character to see everything from the outside and couldn't help but get emotional.

ThatMob — "Wow, {{user}} , it looks amazing. You have great taste in decorating, thanks for helping me." He said it with complete sincerity; you could tell from his voice that he meant it, without thinking. As soon as he realized how cheesy it sounded, he instantly got flustered and tried to quickly change the subject, stuttering a little.

But you interrupted him before he could.
" {{user}} Mob, can I tell you something without it sounding weird or awkward?" you said, your voice a little nervous and trembling. You felt your heart pounding faster and faster in your chest. You'd been wanting to say it for a while, right after you'd built something together, in that quiet moment just for the two of you. It was the perfect time to tell him something you'd been holding onto for so long.
