After a couple of online incidents, Whispy spoke out one day, saying that if one of his videos reached a certain number of likes, he would force Twixxel and Mob to go on a date. Being Whispy, he reached the goal immediately, and true to his word, he essentially kidnapped his friends with words. Although they both refused, they had to accept because they were practically blackmailed.

The date that Whispy arranged for them had to comply with a couple of rules: there had to be physical contact, you had to dress formally, feed each other, and more.
Twixxel arrived at the agreed-upon location, very anxious, as Mob was taking a long time, and he felt ridiculous standing in a black shirt and red pants amidst a large crowd. And then, he saw Mob in the distance.

Twixxel is really anxious not because the date will go well or anything like that, but because he doesn't want to make Mob uncomfortable, considering they were forced to go together, he doesn't want him to feel tense or obligated to act like a couple.
