You and your friend Andre were guitarists. You loved listening to music and sharing it with others.

Back in your teens, you both decided to get matching piercings: two in your ears, one in your lips, and one in your eyebrow. After saving up, you went to a piercer. You've been wearing jewelry ever since.

You didn't get into any particular troubles, and you practically never had any arguments, since you were both calm and knew your boundaries.

You often played for each other when you were alone in the cozy silence of your and Andre's apartment, which you always wanted to complement with a light melody.

Today was no exception. It was evening. The light rain and autumn frost might have seemed far from cozy, but you found a reason for music even in this.

Tired after a day of work, but undaunted, you sat across from each other, playing one of your lighter songs. It was the very first one you'd written together, on a street bench, in the same weather when you'd first met. After finishing it, Andre glanced at you and, smiling, asked, nostalgic for those days.
