However, Scrooge's plans changed when Della discovered the "Spear" and took the rocket on a test flight, during which Scrooge and Della communicated via radio. When Della encountered a cosmic storm, she continued to talk to Scrooge, but the rocket disappeared from satellites and communication was lost. A sad Scrooge began searching for Della, spending most of his fortune, but unfortunately, he was never able to find her. Donald became upset with Scrooge, and after that, they did not speak for over ten years.

In the 1960s, a young Scrooge McDuck was recruited by S.H.U.S.H. to carry out a mission with Agent 22. Before that, he became famous for catching Jack the Frightener, who was terrorizing London, which attracted the attention of the organization. Ludwig von Drake introduces the partners to the essence of the mission: it is necessary to stop the agent of S.H.U.S.H. - Black Heron, who planned to create super-soldiers with the help of a super-jumping potion and buy a page from the Great Book of the Ancients at auction.

Then Scrooge returned to adventures again, but with his nephews - Della and Donald Duck.

Scrooge has been involved in many rebellions in the past, including the one in the aforementioned Demogorgan. Interestingly, Scrooge seems to have a history with Santa Claus, given his great displeasure when he hears his name. Webby Vanderquack also added that Santa is one of Scrooge's greatest enemies.

15 years before the events of the series, a battle takes place between Scrooge and Magica De Spellbunoz on the top of Vesuvius. Scrooge manages to defeat the sorceress with great difficulty: he imprisons her in his talisman coin. The sorceress's power turns into the Magic Medallion, and a spy for Magica is born from the shadows.

Having had many adventures together, Scrooge and his nephews have traveled much of the world. Wanting to find new places to explore, Della suggested building a rocket called the Spear of Selene. When Della first laid her eggs (Huy, Dewey, and Louie), Donald was against the trip. Scrooge, however, wanted to go to space more than Della did, and secretly built the rocket, intending to give it to Della as a gift after the boys were born.

75 years before the events of the series, Scrooge became a millionaire and wanted to celebrate by doing something no one had ever done before—climbing Mount Neverrest. He hired renowned mountaineer George Quackwell, who had climbed the furthest, to lead his expedition up the mountain. Quackwell mercilessly mocked the newcomer. As they dangled over the abyss, tied together, George ordered them to drop their gear. Scrooge refused to part with his backpack, so Quackwell treacherously cut the rope, abandoning the young adventurer to his fate. For this, Scrooge was nicknamed "the Neverrest dummy."

Scrooge was a very enterprising, sociable, and courageous man, even in his later years. Some of his exploits include defeating the Stone Giant, making a statue out of his leg, discovering the secret of the Chupacabra, and learning to swim in a pile of gold. He spent an indefinite amount of time in the eternal demonic dimension of Demogorgana. In 1956, he captured a unicorn and locked it in a secret vault.

He was born on December 24, 1867 in Glasgow, Scotland, to Fergus McDuck and Donnie O'Drake.

In 1877, Scrooge was a ten-year-old boy working in a shoe shop in Glasgow. One day, Bert approached him with muddy boots and asked Scrooge to clean them. Scrooge polished and polished them until they sparkled. In return, Bert paid Scrooge with a single American dime.

In fact, Bert went to Scrooge because of Fergus McDuck, who asked him to wash his son's shoes in order to instill selflessness and hard work in young Scrooge.

In America, Scrooge met Goldie O'Guild. The two embarked on a series of adventures, including a journey through the Gobi Desert, a battle with Portuguese pirates, and a flight over the Himalayas. During the Klondike Gold Rush, Scrooge and Goldie searched together for the golden lagoon of the White Plains. Goldie tried to steal a map from Scrooge, but they were attacked by a mammoth, and the other half of the map became stuck between its teeth. Trying to escape the wild beast, they both became trapped in ice. Five years later, the ice floe containing Goldie melted and she escaped, leaving Scrooge trapped in the ice for another 10 years, heartbroken.

Once a greedy adventurer, Scrooge eventually tired of adventure and began spending more time at home, until his nephews reinvigorated his sense of adventure. Scrooge values ​​dedication and hard work for his age, but remains quite industrious in his old age. He wants to instill the values ​​of hard work and dedication in his nephews, as demonstrated in the episode "The Pursuit of the Coin."

Stern yet kind, Scrooge takes great responsibility in mapping his travels, using the knowledge he's accumulated over the years to keep himself safe and out of trouble. He's happy to share his knowledge with others, provided they'll listen.

Scrooge can also be short-tempered, often because of his personal pilot, Lightning. Scrooge doesn't want to let Flintheart Glomgold become the richest duck and become second on the rich list.

Scrooge is shown to have a selfish side, such as when he was unwilling to stop on his way to the top of Mount Neverrest, thereby putting children's lives at risk. However, he ultimately put the safety of others above his own desires. It was precisely because of his selfishness that he failed to save his niece Della from an ill-fated space flight.

Scrooge is also very self-confident; taking great pride in his experience and abilities, which made him the legend he remains to this day.
