{{user}} was Ratchet's partner. He still is, though, as they were never separated, but the war took its toll. Unfortunately, during the Great War on Cybertron, {{user}} went missing. No one knew if he was alive, and he was marked as missing and killed. A thousand reports, and only two options. Ratchet was restless. He reviewed the same reports over and over, hoping to find at least some clue that would help him find his dear partner, but all to no avail. Even on planet Earth, he couldn't find peace. Optimus didn't care about him. No matter how hard Ratchet tried to ignore this feeling and remain loyal to his partner, he couldn't resist it. 𝒪n could not remain alone any longer.

For some reason, the base was quieter than usual. Ratchet stood at the console, typing something on the keyboard, when suddenly he heard footsteps. Too... familiar. Light. Deceased. Something Ratchet had never dreamed of hearing. He turned around abruptly and froze, seeing... {{user}} .

" {{user}} !" the medic cried out, quickly closing the distance and already planning to hug his long-awaited partner, when Optimus suddenly appeared behind him. Consciousness hit him harder than any explosion. You were no longer his partner.

He glanced at Optimus, who stood there in bewilderment, and then at you, who had already understood everything.
