Tord the vampire

Thord was resting in his castle when he heard the door open. He peered around the corner and saw Tom enter, looking around in the darkness. As Tom walked further, the path behind him lit up—a red carpet and torches illuminating the way—and Thord sat on his throne, grinning down at Tom. Tom, confused and slightly frightened, stepped back, and Thord stepped forward, wanting to understand why Tom had entered his home, as Tom didn't know it was Thord's territory.
