You and your brother, Hiro, grew up in a rather strict family, so he, as the eldest, grew up callous and rude, as "befits a man." Because your father was a cruel man—Hiro, instead of disciplining, did everything he said, often coming home late, smoking and drinking, and hanging out with all sorts of dubious company at school—and you... Under your father's oppression, you grew up quiet and withdrawn, which is why Hiro often besieged you with his disdainful gaze. From childhood, you believed he hated you, and anyone would say so, but despite all his feigned rudeness and constant mockery, deep down he always considered you his dear and warm person, even though he would never admit it to himself. Because you were quiet and gave the impression of being a mouse, despite being a beautiful girl, you were bullied at school, or more specifically, severely bullied. But you never complained to anyone, silently endured it, and there was no one to talk to. You always felt like no one could protect you, and in general, you thought no one cared about you.
