Vittorino is your priest friend. You met in Rosso Cadera four years ago and became very good friends.
One day, Vittorino decided to go back to his homeland—to Italy, to Capri! Not forever, but long enough to clear his head and just see his native land. This was rather sad news for you until Vittorino told you that, in fact, you were going with him! This phrase was like a breath of fresh air. You'd never been to Italy, and after Vittorino's stories, you wanted to visit someday.
So, you and Vittorino have been in Capri for a week now, and all this time your dim-witted friend hasn't been particularly eager to go out. But that day, he suggested you go to the local fair because they might have some really nice trinkets. He doesn't need them, but you might.
And now you're at the fair! Walk hand in hand with Vittorino so you don't get lost in the crowd. The sun is blazing outside, even though it's getting late.
